Another Saturday and another episode of Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein😛…
If u remember what happened last week, u will know that Bauji had been the central character for the last 2 episodes😳….
Now it's Sona😆…
How?
Let's see the headlines first…
- Cricket match in the locality, Urmi and Zoya as umpires, Sandip playing for one side and Jugle for the other side…. Sona hinders in the play…
- Sona's brother and sister in law worried about her … she is the oldest in the locality who is unmarried… her younger sister, Mona is going to have a baby and is coming to Colonel Gunj
- Urmi tries to hint Sandip again that she wants to marry him but he is totally ignorant about Urmi's heart…
- Sona and Urmi share an emotional moment😛
Now the summary…
After reading the letter, Bauji excitedly shows it to Gyaniji and Guptaji… and tells them that Arjun will be coming back soon. Everybody is shocked to hear it… they obviously dint expect that Arjun wud ever come back becoz of the way he went… (for more info… see my last update..😳)
They all watch a plane flying up in the air, as if to signify that Arjun's departure is just a sign that he will come back again.👏👏
Guptaji happily tells Bauji that they wud paint the whole locality rather than just painting Bauji's house.😆
Next morning –
Bauji is worshipping Tulsiji when a ball breaks his glass window pane. He picks up the ball and laughs knowingly.😃
Children are shouting in front of the open area in the locality (I don't know what to call it 😕). Urmi wearing a huge off white colored hat and Zoya are umpiring the match👏. Urmi tells them that they had done enough of practicing and now they shud start the match. She flips the coin and one team of children win the toss and elect to bat first. The first batsman is Jugle😆, yes our very dear sweet Jugle😳 who is totally Urmi smitten 😉😉😉. He comes to bat leaving his friends (the 3 other deewane😉) cheering for him. The background song is Rang De Basanti's title track👏. He comes and says that he has come to win somebody's heart. Zoya and Urmi are smirking😉. Background song… Koi mil gaya (from KKHH)👏. The children on the other side announce that if they can have Jugle then they cud have Sandip bhaiya👏.
Sandip had been till now sitting in the caf reading a newspaper. He folds the newspaper and goes to the field (the open area that is) in style. Urmi watches love-struck. Background song… wo sikander hi dosto kehlata hai (from JJWS).👏
On the gazebo, the 3 buzurg are discussing about Jugle who is supposed to be a very good player😛. Jugle's dadaji, Gyaniji tells them that Jugle is like him and he is proud of him. just then Pummy, Jugle's mom and Gyaniji's daughter-in-law comes bringing Gyaniji's medicine. She scolds him for not having his medicine on time. The other 2 old men smirk seeing this and say… "Bahu raani daant rahi hai!"😉😉. Hearing this Pummy scolds guptaji telling him not to have so much tea from the caf😉. Gyaniji grins saying "aa gaya uunth pahad ke neeche!!"👏
The owner of the Caf calls chotu who works for him and is also in the team and tells him to tell everybody that he will give tea only twice in the beginning and during the lunch break and with that he will also serve Samose and Kachori (slurp!!! slurp!!!!😛😛😛)… when chotu goes, he says I will not tell him now, but the team who wins will get Rasgulle. (Wow! What love yaar!!👏)
On the field, Sandip instructs his team members to take position. Urmi comes to stands with the team, Sandip tells her that she is not in his team and she shud just go coz she is not doing anything worthwhile. Zoya tells him that they will be umpiring. He tells them to take their positions. Zoya is the square leg umpire and Urmi is umpire beside Sandip 😉.
As the first ball is going to be played everybody around there give their best wishes to the team. Sandip marks a plus sign on Jugle's forehead with his fingers and pretends to shoot it "dhiskaao".😆
Then he gets ready, does a few situps, twists his hips, rotates his arms, rubs his ball, and does all those stylish things that bowlers do before bowling.😆
First ball, is a dead ball… why ?
Sandip remembers, Bauji hasn't been told and warned😕. Urmi says she forgot😡. Just as she was going, the 3 deewane watching, come running and tells her that they'll take care of Bauji's matter😆😆😉. They run to Bauji who was sitting on his chauki and having tea. They ask him to get up… take the pillow and mattress from the bed, get a chair, ask him to sit on the chair and take the bed to the very window which was most vulnerable to the ball 😆😆. Just then a ball comes flying and hits on the standing bed in front of the window. Bauji laughs at this.😆
As the next ball was going to be played, Urmi imagines her hand stretching so to show a no ball when Sandip comes running from the back and they collide and Urmi in the next moment is in sandip's arms😉… and Sandip blows lightly on her face😉 and she imagines herself on top of the world😆😆😆… and then reality strikes….
The next ball also goes for a six, but Urmi does not want to show that it's a six. She says "chauka"… but when the other children protest, she raises her hand to say six😆😆😆. Jugle does the same thing that Sandip had done in the beginning of the match, plus and "dhishkaao".😆
5 balls are done, for the last ball of the first over, Sandip calls all his team members and tells them that he will be bowling another over after that and they shud catch the ball when it flies from the top.
The 3 deewane are jealous of Jugle. The tailor's son says he wished he cud also play cricket then he wud have also showed Urmi his talent. Rahul says that though he has the Name but still he cant become a Dravid and impress Urmi with his batting.😆😆😆
Next ball is also flung up… it goes far up and everybody's eyes are in the sky towards the ball… hands in a cup like fashion in an attempt to catch the ball… many children gather in the position where the ball will come down… and the ball comes down…
And there comes Sona… pushing them to go forward….
Result… ball falls on the ground.😭
In Jugle's house, his mom, Pummy and Mrs. Mehta (Sujata, Urmi's mom) are chatting about Sona and their concern for her marriage. Pummy tells Sujata that Sona does not like being shown to the guy's family in a way as if she is "numaish ki cheez"😡😡😡. She also tells her that there were many ppl who came and saw Sona but either the kundli dint match or they had a problem of their own.😭😭😭
All the children are angry with Sona coz she had ruined the game. Sona is angry coz the children were talking to her in a bad way. Sandip asks the kids to say sorry to her… the but kids will not do it. They think it is Sona di's fault. Urmi… being Sandip's parrot😉😉… repeats… "sorry bolo Sona didi ko"…. Rahul repeats what Urmi said😉… "Urmi didi 😳😉… mera matlab hai… tumhari Urmi didi ne kaha na😕, sorry bolne ke liye… bolo sorry Sona didi ko"…..
Children stubbornly don't budge and they will not say sorry… Jugle comes forward to ease things with his Sona Bua… Sona slaps him for calling her Sona bua…
Everybody shocked… the 3 deewane consol Jugle.😊
In Jugle's house, Sukha Singh comes back earlier than usual and gives Pummy the good news that Mona is coming and she will be having a baby. Pummy is excited to hear it. Jugle comes to complain about Sona but when he comes to know about Mona he goes to call her up.
Sona meets Sagar in the road and she is distraught😡. Sagar tries to calm her down. It seems as if Sagar has a crush on Sona😉😉😉. Sona is frustrated with everything and talks to Sagar in a very rude way. Sagar still is very sweet to her. Just then Jugle comes and tells Sagar that he has to make a call from his booth. The call will be to Jallandar as Mona was coming.
Sona returns home, and she gets the news of Mona being pregnant. She is sad and Pummy's excitement knew no bounds due to which Sona feels sad about her not yet being married and that Mona was actually younger than her. Sukha gets Sona's books and clothes from her room and tells her that since they live in a small house they need to make room for Mona and her husband for a few days. Sona agrees when Gyaniji makes her understand the situation.😭😭😭
In the evening –
Mrs. Mehta is trying to teach Urmi cooking and tells her "jo theek se chaaunk nahi laga sakta wo apne pati ko kabhi khush nahi payegi… shauhar ke dil ka rasta pet se ho kar jata hai"👏👏. Urmi and Zoya giggle hearing this😆😆. Mrs. Mehta tells them that they have to stop playing with the little children and act like mature ladies to get married. Urmi argues that Sona di is very rude even though she is matured😡. Her mom tells her that Sona di will find a guy but if they dint do what she said then they wud always be unhappy with the one they marry.😕😕
Sona is sitting on the stairs outside her house, fiddling with the plant and crying silently.😭
Later …
Urmi and Zoya are out on the street. Urmi is holding a bowl and is very nervous. Zoya boosts her by saying that she has to do this or she may never get a second chance.😆
Just then a lady comes and asks where they were going. They say together "Ghar". The lady says Urmi's house is on the other side why are they going on the opposite side. Urmi lies saying they are going to Zoya's house. The lady goes.
The girls go forward. Zoya leaves Urmi after saying some more encouraging words.
The 3 deewane without Jugle are listening to a joke from the Paanwala, when Jugle joins them and demands that the joke be told to him too. The 3 deewane tell him to go have milk and not think about what they were discussing since he was a kid who shud not be listening to adult jokes 😉.
They see Urmi coming towards them, they get prepared😉…
Urmi says hello and go towards Sandip's house. The deewane are surprised seeing this.🤢
In Sandip's house …
Sandip is singing a classical song… "Saiyaan bulawe…"👏👏. Urmi stands on the door step and clears her throat. Sandip without stopping with his song gestures Urmi to come inside. Urmi clears her throat again still standing there. Sandip gestures again, a bit more prominently😉. Urmi this time coughs loudly😆😆. Sandip now stops singing and asks whether she has cold or what…😛
Urmi in her annoyingly sweet style says "andar aa jaauun Sandip Babu!!".😉😉
Sandip is irritated😡😡… he asks her not to talk like that. Urmi comes inside and asks him why he is fiddling with his Harmonium. Sandip answers in a very Rajesh Khanna style (which is very very sweet!!!👏)… that he was going to have a bhajan in his house and he will be singing on the front seat (btw… he was mocking Urmi's questions and her style of talking to him)😆.
He asks what he had got. She says food. He tells her that Mrs. Mehta had fed him earlier. She tells him that her mom had forgot Gajar ka Halwa which Urmi had made herself. Sandip couldn't believe that Urmi cud actually cook. Urmi tells him that her mom says "shauhar ke dil ka rasta pet se ho kar jata hai"😉😉😉… Sandip has a spoonful and says "bura nahi hai…"😛😛.
Urmi asks why did he said bura nahi hai if he liked it… Sandip asks her jokingly how many has she been feeding all this while coz "shauhar mile na mile, RatiRam ki dukaan mein naukari zaroor mil jayegi…. Waise bhi wo budhe ho chuke hai"😉😉😉
Urmi is hurt😭. She snatches the bowl and rushes out of his house. Sandip calls out… "are halwa to chodti jao… are spoon …"😆
Urmi comes out wiping her tears😭😭😭. She collides with Sona who was coming from the other direction.
She says sorry. Sona apologises too… saying that whatever she wants to say never comes out from her mouth. Instead all the wrong things come out of her mouth. Urmi says it dint matter. They sit in front of Landmark shop (which is Sagar's) and they talk. Sona tells Urmi that she fears from ppl saying no to her and that's the reason why she dint want to see any prospective guy/family. Urmi tells opens her heart too. She tells Sona that she is in love but is afraid that the guy will not accept her and also what the other ppl wud say. That's why she wasn't able to tell anybody.😭
Sona says that she envies her coz she cud cry out loud and on the other hand she had learnt the art of crying in her heart and not show her tears. She tells her that one day even she will learn this art😕😕😕.
Urmi replies that she does not want to learn this art 👏👏coz she wanted her fear to be wiped👏. She knew that it wud be difficult but still she had faith in herself that she wud do it one day. Hearing this Sona's eyes are filled with tears.😭😭
Urmi remarks that Sona hadn't learnt the art well😉 and that one day evens he is going to find the one for her.
"Bhagwan ke ghar der hai andher nahi"👏
Urmi holds Sona's hand and we see Sagar standing in his shop looking at them (Sona… I think)… and in the verandah Sandip is standing, looking on the other side… he does not notice Urmi and Sona here…👏
