||CHCH WU 28th May- hiding behind a facade||

Chanchan's parents leave for Umaben house where as on the other side Umaben goes to her kitchen to check on the DILs and preparation for the food. While she is in kitchen Manthan taunts her about there not being such lavish dishes prepared when he and his other brother got married. Umaben tells him that since she doesn't know chanchan's family this all is being prepared.

Chanchan and Manav are talking on the phone happy about the change of heart Umaben has had. Manav credits it to chanchan whereas chanchan tells him it is all due to her being a mother and no mother can see her child in pain and hurt. The conversation takes a turn and they end up challenging each other where chanchan puts forward the challenge of manav not being able to see her till the marriage whereas manav says chanchan will have to kiss him.

As chanchan's parents and Umaben are sitting in the living room Sanjana brings them tea which results in Umaben scolding her for not covering her head properly leaving chanchan' parents in an uncomfortable position as Umaben explains to them how she gives freedom to her DILs when it comes to making a decision. Umaben then starts asking them about chanchan's family and what her occupation is and so forth. Umaben continues her sweet and sarcastic comments as chanchan's parents talk.

Umaben informs chanchan's parents that since her and chanchan have different views on dowry she will not demand for anything from chanchan's family but rather they will be the ones sending chanchan's wedding clothes. Manthan isn't too happy with the decision though others seem impressed it.

When Umaben's grandchildren come running she scolds them for playing with dogs as they are dirty and spreads diseases around making chanchan' s dad mad. She continues to play with chanchan's dad's anger after telling her granddaughter that she should concentrate on something productive than painting. As chanchan's dad is about to tell her something, chanchan's mom stop him. Umaben then turns her attention back to chanchan's parents and informs them that the wedding will take place in a week and she will make all the necessary arrangements.

Precap: Umaben is talking to someone on phone telling them that what she did in front of chanchan's parents was just a trailer to make back out of the relationship.
