Today's spoilers have lit the forum on fire...many of you have made posts regarding that since this is a show based on muslim culture zoya should not have worn a mini skirt...well i am sorry if i have hurt somebody's feelings but i am don't agree with this point Gul has already mentioned that she wants to show islam as a progressive religion and change people's preconceived notions and i think she is doing a commendable job cause i believe that everyone has a right to interpret religion and culture in their own way and they should be respected and as far as zoya is concerned she is shown as a very progressive and modern girl so i don't think we should make a big deal out of her wearing a mini skirt and moreover till now she hasn't worn anything indecent and i am very sure that she had no intentions of going infront of anybody wearing that...
khair coming to the topic why people are so against zoya wearing a skirt when they were not against asad and zoya kissing...most of us were upset that they didn't kiss after the fall...all i am saying that wearing short clothes is wrong but kissing before marriage for that matter before even a love confession isn't that wrong?(not that i am against the kiss)...i just wanted to know that people who are against zoya wearing short dresses are they against kissing too and if not then why double standards?
I am sorry if i have hurt anybody's feelings i just want to know people's opinions...

It just the narrow-minded uneducated way of thinking.

Frankly, if people were arguing the length of the skirt maybe being a little longer I could see the debate but for the religion card to come up is hypocritical to the nth degree.

Ok, I keep telling people not to bring religion into all of this but since it's already in might as well give my two cents as well.

First of all I never said YES to the kiss, In fact I'd be disappointed if they showed anything like that before their marriage, because if you're presenting a show from a certain religion's perspective might as well do it right.

Secondly a confession wouldn't be wrong, Islam doesn't prohibit a woman or a man from confessing their feelings given it's done in a "maroof" or proper manner.

Last but not the least, Yes I do say NO to the skirt and No, not because I'm some religion fanatic merely because I think i possess a little of what they call the "common sense" Why would a girl wear something that's "considered" inappropriate (I'm not saying it is) But why would she wear it if she's at someone else's house? If she's in her house then "Hell Yea" to the skirt but when you know the owner of the house doesn't approve of it, why do it? There's something called common courtesy!

But one could argue that it is her house since she is to be married to Asad.
