Astha certainly has Neha's genes...biologically she has to! But no it's not in the negative sense.Atleast I don't see it that way.Neha's insecurities were not unfounded.
Most women cannot tolerate interference even from a mother in law or sister in law and are likely to get upset if the husband gave any other woman too much attention.Simran was his his ex wife and Abhi made no bones about his affection/respect for her.I think Neha's insecurities were absolutely justified.

Neha's insecurities were definitely not unfounded, but then she shouldn't have married Abhi at all. even before marriage she knew Abhi loved Simran. She married Abhi as she loved him, so why did she fuss about it later? Neha was a weak character.And so is Astha.

If you remember,at first Neha disagreed with the idea of getting married to Abhi but that was Abhi who assured her that this marriage has nothing to do with Simran's wish,he himself wanted to get married to her becuz he started loving her. If Abhi would'nt lied to her that time then story would proceed totally different way.

I do not think Simran inteferred in Neha's marriage considering the fact that Abhi and Simran shared a child together. Neha's obsessive insecurity overshadowed the good Simran was trying to do. It was at this stage that Abhi was going through the transition to be a better man and Simran was helping him along. Neha should have been grateful for this rather than to be married to a man with no sense of commitment. Some ex's are spiteful and vindiction, but never has Simran shown those qualities. If Neha had embraced Simran wholeheartedly,there would not have been a problem. But every instance of Abhi being close to Simran seemed to tick her off.
