the main characters are

Gauri-the lead actress whose married to shiv -the lead actor .

Nikhila and Mahen are shivs parents.

other than them we have ipshita (shivs childhood luv) and the daughter of sugna.kaya :gauris sister, vivan :shivs cousin , dada and dadi, maya bua shivs evil aunty and palak shivs evil sister, and alok :gauris dad

Ipshit is Shiv's chilhood luv and she is in shiv's house to be his watch dog... 😆 Kahi shiv gauri se pyar na ker baitthe... 😆

shiv goes along with his mom's, Ipshit and her mom's plans to get him married to gauri coz of dosh in his kundali that his 1st wife will die within 8 months of his marriage. So gauri (a middle class girl and shiv's father's childhood friend's daughter)was chosen to be their scape goat so that shiv-Ipshit can get married and live happily ever after, after gauri's death...
