Maybe ekta'll forget abt the dream like she has many other things. They haven't been showing it for sometime.
Here's a humorous take on that dream...maybe he's running away from Ips after all and towards Gauri! And the tree...hmmm...is the now unmovable Gauri who wants nothing to do with him any longer!! so she's become hard as a rock....no, no....I mean a tree trunk, and on impact, felled him to his knees.
Well, if dreams did come true, then beggers' wishes may as well be horses!!!
