SHE hasn't had an active career since 2008. She sporadically appears on TV as a reality show judge and keeps her distance from filmy events. But now, Urmila Matondkar is set to make a comeback as an actor on a television show on Star Plus.
The series is said to be loosely based on the popular international TV drama series, Revenge. The show, untitled as of now, is being produced by Cinevistaas. and is in early stages of casting and scripting. In the original series, the protagonist moves into the same neighbourhood as the wealthy, influential Grayson family. .
In what is likely to be an unofficial adaptation, Matondkar is said to have been chosen for the role of the scheming matriarch whereas Pratyusha Banerjee, will play Emily's character.
The channel, did not comment and the date of telecast remains undecided.
