Now, a temple dedicated to Ravan! Jodhpur

After the serial on Ravan, now a temple dedicated to the demon king would be seen in Jodhpur.

Located about 320 km from the city, it would be the first temple of its kind in north India.

The idol of Ravana is being sculpted using Jodhpur stone by Chunilal from Osian area and is likely to be installed in six months.

"The temple will be built in the premises of Navgrah (nine planets) temple in Chandpole area," Kamlesh Kumar Dave, a priest said.

"The temple will project Ravana as a scholar, writer, thinker, philosopher and his religious devotion and perception," he said.

According to historians, Jodhpur has had an association with Ravana. His wife Mandodari is said to be from Mandore, the ancient capital of Jodhpur state.

Oh dear, now we can be sure 100% that we're in the Kaliyug, when temples are being made for demons.

hunny ravan is not a demon but he is another vishnu's avatar teaching us humans what we get if get too much pride, devotion, anger and hatred. actually reading all the puranas and researching i have found out that laxman wasn't that saint at all.

so why are people thinking he is a demon as in truth he is not. vishnu only took an avatar as a ravan to teach us what happens if we try to go against god. is a teaching to us humans. And burning his sculputre or saying bad stuff about him is not good at all 🤢

Could you quote where you read that?? Ravan was noty Vishnu's avtar. Pl stop misleading others. Yes he had Aryan and Demon blood, so was a great scholar and devil by nature. And pl stop saying Laxman was not a saint himself. Half knowledge is dangerous than no knowledge.

A temple for Ravan is stupid. Next will be Duryodhana temple I guess
