Hi all. Since I am free today I will write update for this..but I can not promise that I can do this on a regular basis…as you all know my hands are full with Bandham and Surya. It was aired in Theerka Sunmangali's slot at 12 30 to 1 00. Just before the news.

Meena

In a village a SUV is sliding on the reasonably good tar road. Divagar is driving the car and his parents are seated behind. The father tells that may be God will show a good girl soon for his son after they do pooja in that village temple. Car stops in a dead end…near a river. Divagar tells," the road ends here and we have to use a parisal ( round boat) to reach poonjolai village" He rings a bell and a parisal man comes there. He takes them to poonjolai. He tells them that the whole village is waiting for a bridge to be built by the government. If they don't use that river they have to travel 30 KM round about road to reach Poonjolai. The dad tells him not to worry and they will get their bridge soon. He also tells him that his son is working in the same department where the villagers sent in their application for the bridge.

He asks the parisal man whether he belongs to that place. That man replies that," he is an outsider and he came to this village before three years and started this Parisal work.He also tell them how to reach Sivan temple.

They reach the village and the Sivan Temple, many periya manushanga are waiting with garland to welcome them. One Narasimman comes forward and introduces himself as the head of Panchayath. He introduces other people. He Tells Divagar and tells," thambi all those hundreds of letters sent about the bridge are sent by us only….since you have come here to visit our temple…we take this as a good sign and we do hope that we will get the bridge soon" Divagar's mom tells that they want to do some parigaram in Sivan Temple in Poonjolai since Divagar has some dosham in his horoscope which is an obstacle in his marriage matter. By the time they reach the temple and Sambu Iyer is introduced to them. Divagar's mom tells Iyer about the dosham.

Poonjolai Miraasudar is Sokkalingam. A husband and wife are waiting for Sokkalingam in his bunglow. He comes out with a Seer Thaambaala Thattu and gives to that man and tells," I am very happy that you are giving your daughter to your sister's son" He invites the whole family to attend the wedding and they leave. Sokkalingam's mom ( vadicukku arasi) comes there and asks," enda Sokka when are you going to make your sister as ytour sambandi?" Sokka replies," Enna appatha …When Meena was born I told every one that she is not only my daughter but also the daughter in law of my only sister Thangamani….so when times some everything will happen"

He asks," Where is Meena?" Appatha says." She went to the temple.

Divagar and the gang are in the temple doing pooja and they hear some female voice singing. They walk to the direction of the voice and there they see a young girl is singing some suloham.Divagar just stares at her and he takes some photos of her using his cell phone.His parents watch him doing this. They seem to be happy. After her pooja she leaves from there.By this time the other men come there. Divagar's dad asks one of them about the girl. He informs them that she is Meena and she is the daughter of their Mirasudaar Sokkalingam. Divagar's dad tells them that he wishes to meet him.

In Sokka's house he tells him mom that he misses his sister and he wants to visit her. He tells very proudly that there can not be any other sister and brother like them…so loving to each other. As he was telling this his sister Thangamani comes there telling," Anna…where are you going? Wait I have brought for you some paal paniyaaram" Sokka is happy to see her and he asks his mom," paarthiyaa amma…I told you right?" He opens the container and starts eating the food.

He asks Thangamani whether her son sent any letter to her. She says that she is waiting for his reply. Appatha says," when he is going to send you all reply? And when my grand daughter is going to marry him….kadavule…I have no hopes at all" Meena is watching all this from her room and she feels so happy and shy. Sokka tells," amma stop talking like this…what Thangamani can do about this. He fought with his dad and went away to Madras. But he keeps in touch with me and his mom…so let us wait"

As they are having this conversation the villagers comes there with Divagar and his parents. Sokka comes out and receives them. They introduce Divagar and his parents. Sokka asks them to come in. DIvagar's dad explains about their coming to the temple for dosham …pooja…meeting Meena….song…and finally they tell," we both like your daughter very much and we want to make her as our d in law. Meena from inside watching all this feels angry. Her face shows that she does not like this proposal.Sokka hesitates for a sec and then tells, " I am very sorry that I am not in a position to tell yes to this proposal right now" . The disappointed Divagar family gets up to say good bye. But Thangamani tells them politely," Please sit down " She turns to Sokka and asks him to come inside. Sokka follows her to the room. Thangamani says," enna anna…why did you answer like that? I understand very well that we are all waiting for Siva's reply in this matter. Anna we took this decision when Siva and Meena are babies. Now that Siva is grown up and we don't know what is his decision. Suppose he is going to tell a negative answer in this matter…then it will be big loss for us to lose this kind of proposal. So please go and tell them a positive answer" Sokka is shocked to hear this. Meena is still in her room hearing all this this she also fells unhappy. Thangamani continues," Anna when Meena lost her mom when she was 5 years old I took over her mother's place. So I am telling this with my whole heart…you please go out and tell a good answer" He comes out and Divagar's dad asks," What is your decision?" Sokka says," I am willing to your proposal" Meena is shocked………

Evrybody is happy since Sokkalingam has already agrees to Divagar's proposal. They are getting ready to do the Vethila maathikara ceremony. Diwagar goes backside of the house to get signals on his cell. Meena meets him there and tells him about her love for her Athai magan Shiva. She says that she feels like she is married to him since from her child hood everyone made her feel that way. She shows a chain which Shiva gave her with her and his photos in it. She says that she considers that as her thaali. She requests him to help her. Diwagar goes in and tells his parents that he has to leave on some urgent work. He says sorry to Sokka and they all leave.

Meena standing in the terrace says thanks to Diwagar. Diwagar family leaves. Meena looking at the chain with her and Shiva's photo. Shiva is in a temple and he tells the gurukkal to make aradhanai for him, his wife Parwathy and his son Vinod. After the pooja they go round the temple. Parwathy tells him that she never trusted him all these years. Shiva tells her it is not fair. They come out and a girl comes and talks to him about some bank and Internet matter. Parwathy gets angry.

Diwagar's parents are ready to go to some temple. Diwagar tells them, to sit in the house and pray for his marriage. His mom asks whether they can start looking for another girl. He says no.

Meena and her friend Manju are in the fields talking about Meena's wedding proposal. They come to a rose garden and stops. There is a hut nearby and the parisal man comes from there and invites them to his hut. They both enter in and amazed to find books, music instruments, dancing bells, dance costumes and Natarajar statue. The parisal man goes out to buy coffee for them. Mean time Meena switches on the tap recorder kept on the table. Nice bharatha Naatiyam Jathi and music comes. Listening to this music Meena suddenly starts to dance. When they both notices him coming back, she stops dancing. He serves coffee to them. Meena asks about the dance music and the parisal man is taken abck and starts thinking about some girl's dancing legs and hand…..he becomes very sad.

Shankaran says that those are his memories and he doesnot want to talk about that

Shankaran also requests the girls not to mention that he is a literate

In the city siva's wife comes and takes away a coffee cup from her dad's hand, since it belongs to her husband siva. Her dad asks her not to get too possessive, she inturns advises her parents to learn about being possesive. Her mom is totally clueless

Then her dad goes inside and asks his grandson to get ready and wear his uniform. Once the kid goes inside, he is trying to change some channels on tv but someone comes visit him. There is a character waiting outside called agoran, who wants him to find a 10 lakhs acre land. There is a little comedy scene, where the house broker finds out this agoran has come from gunaseelam. The house broker escapes by saying that he has to find that much land so he needs to escape

In the church shailaja comes out after praying and meets the father who inquries about her. Shailaja says she is ok, father does not believe her. She says that she cant speak the truth. She says that she feels that it is a only karthar's asirvatham that she has got a job in a good hospital and sivas acquaintance.

Siva's wife comes and asks her son vinod to get ready to leave. The boy says he wont go with thatha because his image gets spoiled, nor with patti as all his friends speak loudly(as his father is deaf), and if he goes with her they look at him like a villain, so he wants to go to school only with dad as he will feel like a hero

Vinod wakes up siva, and tells him that his science miss is missing his dad. Paro then inquires about his science miss. Then there is konjal between paro and siva. Well siva goes inside the bathroom, and speaks to someone and asks them to wait in the hospital so they can go to mahabalipuram in an hour and they can be back before evening. Paro is listening to everything from outside

Siva gets ready and comes down to eat, paro is quietly serving him. She asks siva to come home early as she has something important to go and shop for , siva says they can go tomorrow, as he has some important meeting. paro says oh i know how can you miss the important meeting in mahabalipuram with shailaja, siva asks her to understand. siva says he has a meeting with some specialist in mahabalipuram.

Paro says he is not a sincere husband. if he is sincere why did he have to go into the bathroom and talk to shailaja. Siva and paro argue. her mom is trying to fix her earpiece so she can easily.

Paro asks him to go and live with shailaja, siva looks at his mil, and goes and pacifies paro. hesays chellam why do you get emotional for everything. he tells that he will be hom early in the evening. paro ends up crying

Highlights

Paro is being convinced by her dad as to how she shoudl be more understanding towards siva

Shankaran in the meantime sends a rose basket from his card to siva's athai magal saying that the rose in his gardens will go wasted, so he has sent it to her who appreciates them this silly girl(she kind of resembles abhi from kolangal, enna brahmayo ponga) who is dreaming about siva sending her the roses and concludes it with a romantic episode between them . Her patti snaps her out of her dream world and says wonder wher this siva is

Siva is shown talking to shailu in the beach and telling her how he is always thinking about her, shailu is so greatful about his company and wants to know more of him, siva is not happy he says that his is a long story and he will say it when the time comes

in the meantime paro's parents convince her to eat and her dad asks her to trust the mapillai, they send her on a guilt trip as to how siva went with an empty stomach

siva in the meantime is shown eating at a hotel with shailu baby

paro's dad convinces his wife and paro as to how good siva is, so when siva arrives home in the evening he asks paro and his son to get ready so they can go out shopping

paro and kid go out happily and her parents are happy to see the change in paro's mood

as paro opens the door to get into the car she sees a duppatta(shailu's) and questions siva about it, she then gets angry and upset and goes back inside the house

siva is shopping with his son, and shailu comes to shop there too. Shailu asks him why his wife is not there, his son says ellam duppatta problemthan. his son keeps counting his lies. Siva says that his wife only wanted dupatta so that is what his son is saying. then amars son wants to get shoes, siva objects the tail shailu says it is ok get it, so siva's son says that she is better than his mom, who says no for everything, so it would have been better if shailu was his mom
at that time mythili , paro's friend comes to shop there too, and she asks for a shirt, for someone who hs ajith's color, vijays height and as handsome as surya, the shop keepers are shocked. then she spots siva and mistakes shailu for paro, siva gets tensed seeing mythili, and says gone now the next tension has started
shailu asks what he says nothing he has guests at home,and escapes

on the way back he keeps looking behind and tells his son that he thinks that someone is following him. his son tells him that there is no one & that his dad has said 3 lies. and names them. he then asks who is hte guest, siva tells vidhi is his gues

divakar & his friend are playing pool, and they are discussing divakar's ponnu partha vishayam. diva says that slowly that girl will see his way, then they get talking about his friends wedding issues, who puts it off. Diva says we are true friends but i dont know the biggest issue that seems to be bothering you. his friend says that since they are true friends, he does not want toshare his burden and make diva unhappy too. diva thinks that since im a true friend, i will truly find out what is botheirn gyou and fix it

siva's mom goes to her mom's house(meena's grandma) and give tulasi malai and rudraksha malai that siva has sent. grandma refuses to take it(the dialogues betweent he two were very well executed, vadivukku arasi is truly an wonderful actresses). the daughter asks why her mom angry, the grandma says that why did tried to change my sons' mind about getting meena married to your son siva, siva's mom says she was only thinking of meena' well being, then grandma snaps at her daughter and says where was this well being thought when u kept spoiling meena's mind saying that siva is her mapillai, the daughter is quiet. Grandma brings back the past and reminds her daughter about all the sacrificies her brother did for her.
Siva's mom says that she has a difficult son who fought with his dad and left town and only calls once in a while. she does not even know what he is doing or where he is, meenu is listening to all this and crying. siva;s mom goes to visit meena, grandma looks at the package lovingly after she leaves. Meenu tells her athai that she will always consider her as her athai only.

This serial is quiet intersting, i wish i had time to type the udpate

maybe after the new year i will be more prompt

so far it has been introuding sivas family side and all the people involved in his life like his wife poo, his coworker doctor, shailu(who is jollu vittufying on siva), his adorable son, he seems to be living with his inlaws, and his parents are in a village

his dad seems to have some jealousy against sivas mama. His mom is a sweetheart, and also a maman magal waiting to tie the knot with siva

last couple of days, it has been a build up of how siva's wife paro is ever suspicious of him, and siva seems to be an opportunist.

his coworker shailu seems to be increasing her jollu capacity every episode, when she sees siva(aiyoo ithuvum irandu pondati, adultery case agividumoy)
