Episode 284 Discussion: 29th May 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Episode 284 Discussion - EOD Summary

RK's donation to the NGO and invitation to the kids for the marriage; RK- Madhu haladi ceremony in RK mansion.

Events Of The Episode

1. Sultan is about to walk towards Madhu when RK makes his presence known to Madhu. Sultan is angry at this unexpected interruption and hides behind the tree. Madhu is happy to see RK. The kids immediately gather around RK and he shakes hands with them all. RK announces donation to the NGO and makes Madhu present the cheque to the supervisor on behalf of entire Madhubala family, making everyone happy. Madhu asks RK to invite all the kids to their wedding as his gift to her. RK immediately issues the invitation to all the kids making them smile with delight. In the midst of that Padmini calls Sultan but he expresses his inability to talk to Madhu as RK is present at the scene.

2. DIpali takes the bag received from Padmini and throws it on RK's bed. It rolls and falls down under the bed. She announces that let Madhu find it when she comes back. In RK Mansion, Bittuji is happily bustling around making arrangements but Dipali reminds him bitterly that though the marriage preps are underway, marriage is yet to take place and not to be too happy. This confuses Bittuji. Over at the park, RK and Madhu leave for shopping thus foiling Sultan's plan to talk to Madhu.

3. In RK's bedroom, Madhu is stiching a button RK's sherwani all the time complaining about not enough time to get ready. RK is not able to keep his hands off her and is distracting her. She finally goes to get ready when RK hides her earring. Radhaji is hurrying them up to get ready. Madhu comes all decked up in clothes and RK manages to put the earring in her ear and they have a romantic moment.

4. RK and Madhu come downstairs to participate in haladi ceremony. RK attempts to put haldi on Madhu first but she shouts for Radhaji who separate them and thus foiling RK's attempt to win the bet. RK and Madhu are both made to sit separately with a curtain between them. RK tries to get close to Madhu to apply her haladi but she successfully thwarts his plans with Radhaji's help. Madhu gives her phone to Radhaji for safekeep and both her and Radhaji's phone end up with Sikki who is fielding calls from various people and attending them on Radhaji's behalf. Sikki is confused and not able to differentiate between the 2 phones.

5. Radhaji gets emotional while applying haladi on Madhu and tells her she is doing it both on Padmini's and her behalf. Madhu too gets emotional. RK watches both the women admiringly. Radhaji also applies haladi on RK. Radhaji announces that haladi ceremony of today will be followed by the wedding tomorrow evening. She also mentions about the tradition on the groom's side of going to the temple tomorrow morning, however Madhu shall be left behind all alone in the house during that time.

soo happy that certain golden extras were left red with anger to match the shirt 😆

OMG Rk is sooo cute!! bichaara just cant resist madhu anymore...room mein bhi just to spend more time he throws everything around 🤗

and then hides the earring also...ek aur bahaana 😳

AND Rk-madhu comnig down the stairs just aankho mein aankhein daale...dont bother about guests staring at their romance 🥳

madhu's secret weapon "maa" hahaha!! 😆 madhu wins round 1 with this 😳

btw i thought haldi ke waqt they r not allowed to see each other but yahaan to pardaa bhi sirf naam ka hi hai...khair chodo...i enjoyed drooling at naughty attempts...😳 👏

radhaji stopping rishu n then smiling at the way these 2 fight like kids 😳

now the haldi rasam...radhaji crying...thoda OTT...not the crying just..umm i dunno😕

precap: deepali gives baddua...m happy coz her baddua always works against her 😆

all in all not much progress but a VERY CUTIE episode 😳 👏

oh and the saree just disappeared...m guessing Rk will c it at night n a new guilt trip will start...thats y he will forgive madhu when she tells him about her revenge plan...😳

WOW episode today ! the colors , the grandeur, romance, mischief , emotions

So the kids were super happy to meet RK and the chitkus and chitaknis got invited to the Rishbala wedding ! oh so cool ! good Sultan didn't get to talk to Madhu..it's being saved for the climax...

Dips is confident ke abhi shadi hui nahi hai...Bittuji got the odd feeling ..but then, what else do we expect from Dipali? acha toh kabhi bolegi nahi...

RK and Madhu got ready for the haldi this is the first time i saw that groom is wearing shervani for haldi..haldi kahan lagani thi? it's put on the hands and feet too ...but inna sona mukhda hai, wahin theek hai haldi hai na?

Madhu was looking gorgrous ! RK got an opportunity apni dulhan ko earring pehnane ka...and their cute sweet romantic talk kisi ki nazar na lage..

I'm liking these rasms and the way it's been done differently..also love the way Madhu called Radha everytime RK tried to put haldi on her ...too cute..

Madhu and Radha having similar phones and Sikky attending all the calls , everything looks clunky..so that Sultan comes to see Madhu during pooja ..🤢

the haldi applying scene was veryyy sweet..Radha had tears in her eyes as she put haldi on behalf of Padmini...again an aaawww moment when RK told her that she can cry as much as she wants, he'll not cry ..bec. he knows these are tears of joy

Round 1 Madhubala is the winner 🥳 i can't believe RK itni jaldi haar maan li..

Precap, why does Dipali have to open her gutter mouth 🤢 couldn't care less..she cannot wish good for anyone except herself..

Another light-hearted episode..

Dipzy throws the packet on the bed but it actually goes underneath the bed... like REALLY!!!!

RK was in a full-on playful mood today... The decorations of the set were awesome.. Madhu seems to be winning the challenge as of now...

Sikky was buttering up his mom..

Radha and Madhu having the same phones to create confusion🥱

RK's "Jo dekhte the hume harane ke sapne

wo khud jhuke aur chale aaye apne ghutnon par"

What was that... Made me a lil uneasy...This guy is seriously going to keep me on tenterhooks...

Super cute episode.

Madhu is thrilled to see RK at the NGO. Just too bad Sultan didn't get to see that. Loved how RK was so quick to accede to Madhu's desire to have the kids present at the wedding.

So Dips is pre-warning Bittuji about assuming that everything is going to be hunky-dory with the wedding. Hmm.

Sweet scene in the bedroom, where RK pulls Madhu to him, knowing full well that she will respond to the closeness, but in turn, nice to see that he is also completely affected. And then him taking another opportunity to get close by maneuvering to put her earring in her ear.

I have to listen to RK's lines again about people who were trying to defeat him, and then they themselves had to bow down - maybe others can shed light on this?

BTW, liked how Madhu was ordering RK in a very wifely-way to clear up the mess he made with the clothes before she got back from the bathroom!

Madhu and RK looked gorgeous, and color-coordinated too, what with the neon yellow kerchief. No wonder they were totally drooling at each other throughout. And then Madhu taking Maa's help throughout in making sure that RK doesn't win the bet to apply haldi on her. I feel like even if RK does win the bet, he will let Madhu stay on her own in the other room (in his own crazy way, the man is quite aware and respectful of traditions, and will probably want to make sure nothing gets messed up this time around.) Nice sweet interaction between the two.

Sikky mixing up the phones was just a set-up for Sultan to know what the schedule for the day was going to be.

BTW - nice to see that they are not skimping on the budget with the sets! The efforts show - great job.

The precap: Dips - ooh, just when I was actually beginning to like her, she made me want to stretch into the screen and smack her when she gave her "Dukhi Raho" bad-dua. She brings a new meaning to the terms vicious and nasty. Ah well, Madhu has Maa's i.e. Radhaji's little kajal dab to protect her against buri nazars of this variety. Hence am not too worried.

loved RK's entry n Madhu's instant smile seeing him...i hope Bhai shud get a clue dt dese 2 r a thing!!
hoped dey had done a lil mre PDA in front of Bhai 🤔 uska khoon jalta to mere dil ko sukoon milta!!!!

RK is too cute dese days he never misses a chance to touch his wife bechara had to steal biwi's earing 😆😆

y do dey have to edit all d rishabala s cenes y cant dey edit Bhai's scene n save us frm torture..as if cv's were not enough nv editors r also after butchering our Rishabala😡

That dialogue was super creepy.. Scared me for a minute..but from madhu's expression I felt like rk said it without any hidden meaning but madhu took it from her revenge plan perspective.. That is how I read madhu.. But I m Not sure.. Can't know anything with rk

Round 1 to RK : That's right my boy! Take your wife shopping, stay close to her so that the riff-raff don't dare approach her 👍🏼

Round 2 to RK : Hides the earring and earns the chance to touch Madhu once again 😃

Round 3 to Madhu : "Maa!"

Round 4 to Madhu : "Maa!" 🤣

Poor Radhaji has enough on her plate already without these two overgrown kids needing her to keep themselves out of trouble 😆

Why do I get the feeling that RK accepted defeat intentionally to see Madhu happy at being the winner? And that he too wants this wedding to go through with proper rituals 👏 Must have been difficult for him since it is obvious that he is having a hard time looking anywhere except at Madhu 😳

So the unwedding saree and mangalsutra have been pushed under the carpet (bed) for the time being. Not really worried about them as Madhu is too deeply in love with RK to let them affect her now. And RK will only feel more guilty if he comes across them.

Precap - Like a wise man said on some reality tv show, zindagi jhandwa phir bhi ghamandwa 😆

but, that actually made me feel like he was talking about himself ...tho m clueless what its pointing at...maybe that he will lose the bet but, she will be the one who will come to him...

that fits..coz she WILL be the one to meet him before wedding to clarify her revenge intentions...
