Recap : Meera is attacked by a bunch of hooligans while she waits in front for her Mother in the evening. Abhi protects her and she breaks down. Gauri tells Ira that Meera is not in the house and that she had gone to meet her Mom. Ira is angry and she goes and tells Ammaji. Ammaji is furious and decides to go to the temple to bring Meera back.
Today's episode : Ammaji reaches the temple area and finds Abhi. She asks Abhi where Meera is. Meanwhile, Mera has sneaked to the room in the widows quarter areas under the temple's aegis. Alaka is shown reading the Geeta when Meera opens the window and calls her. ALaka is scandalized and with great difficulty, arises her from her seat on the ground and goes to the window. She asks Meera to return back to the House since Meera's presence in that area would usher in greater trouble. Meera refuses to do so and begs Alaka not to send her away. Meera manages to find some water for Alaka to drink, who is reciting the Geeta without even drinking a drop of water, and is about to give her when Ammaji reaches the spot. The water tumbles falls onto the ground and breaks.
Alaka is appalled to find Ammaji there who tells Alaka that the punishment that has been meted to her is due to her forgetting the rules and the life of a widow. She also scolds Meera a lot. But Meera retorts back saying that she is willing to hear whatever AMmaji tells her or is about to say, but she wouldn't withstand anything against her Mother, who had not committed any crime at all. Meera questions Ammaji's system of imparting justice and said that the judgement that Ammaji had pronounced for Alaka in front of the Nyaya Deepak was flawed. Meera gets a resounding slap from Ammaji after this while Alaka looks at them helplessly.
While Ammaji is dragging Meera to the car, Chaubey Maharaj and his followers come along. Maharaj questions Ammaji that now it must be difficult for herto control her grand daughter's conduct too. Ammaji is furious and tells AChaubey Maharaj that her famil respects age old values, culture and tradition and she will strive to uphold them. Chaubey Maharaj taunts her and reminds her that the next day, the final purification of Alaka will take place and all her family members would be present.
Back at home, Ira is sitting in the hall feeding Gauri, while Suli and Shlok are also present. Ammaji comes in dragging Meera across the hall, up the stairs and finally to her bedroom. Shlok tells Gauri that although he knew that she had no brains, today by her act, Gauri had proved that she's heartless as well. Abhi also scolds Gauri when she goes to dress a wound on his hand, that he had incurred during his fight with the goons. Abhi tells her that what she had done was very wrong and that he would support Meera in this case, and not Gauri even though they are friends.
Ammaji calls their Kulpurohit and she hands him Meera's horoscope to check the position of her stars and planets. The Kulpurohit is very perturbed and tells Ammaji that Meera's planetary locations do not tally with those of the House. in fact, the storm that he had been worrying about to hit the Bharadwaj House has finally arrived and that the next day will be very crucial for the family members. Some things will happen which will change the entire family and their ways of interpreting things. He asks Ammaji to keep away Meera from tomorrow's proceedings, even though it will be difficult. And that Meera should not be allowed to ask questions at any cost.
Sorry guys, couldn't update yesterday. There was no power supply. Today also the power went off around 10 p.m. when I was to post the update. It came back only a little while ago so I decided to post the update before goign off to sleep. 😕
