Thanks for all the responses everyone, and in summary I think everyone is right in their stance, I think in kissing Ipshita, Shiv betrayed Gauri's trust, and that will hurt Gauri the most, and it is his only mistake so far. I think Ipshita and Shiv should both be present to tell Gauri the truth. Maybe even take the portrait 😆 but they both owe it to Gauri, I just want to say that Shiv didn't actually get into the marriage hoping that Gauri will die, he agreed because he was persuaded in order to marry his love, and also because he wanted to break his mom's stupid superstitions. He didn't believe that his Kundali ka dosh will come true, which is why he was scared when those incidents happened with Gauri. So I don't think Shiv is immoral when he agreed to marry Gauri, because he wanted to in a way prove his mom wrong, and not wish for Gauri's death even if he hated her as the basis of his marriage.

I totally and completely agree with your analysis...shiv isn't a total badguy...he just needs to face his fears and tell the truth for one day...not care what happens and just say it...b/c the longer he keeps gauri in darkness the more painful it's gonna be for shiv,gauri&ipshita...and for shiv haters...plzz we know we all hate him for luvin ipshita but that's b/c they didnt' show us their luv story before...if they had maybe we wud have felt bad for them...not justifing their actions but just sayin that their luv was there from the beginning and if they wanna stay together...just quit hurtin gauri and leave her alone so she can find sum1 better for herself

hating him not for loving ipshi but for cheating a wife like gauri.

the only thing i blame shiv for is hindin the truth from gauri and anupam.
more irritated for hidin it from anupam than gauri, 'coz understood tht if he had to tell gauri abt ipshitha he will have to tell the entire raaz, and he thought he cud just scare her off and get a divorce, but now tht he cares for her, he doesn't want to hurt her and doesn't want to fall in her eyes. all tht little irritatin and difficult but understood. but anupam had told shiv from the beginin how much he loves ipshitha, but shiv never bothered to tell anupam tht ipshitha loves him or they r childhood sweethearts and have decided to get married, but shiv never bothered to tell anupam the truth even ipshitha. 'coz of their silence, Anupam's love increased over the time, and is madly in love with ipshitha. if shiv had cared atleast alittle abt anupam, then he wud have told anupam the truth, and anupam wudn't have had this hope tht one day ipshitha will love him the way he loves her.
