Fame Gurukul, India's most voted reality show has experienced another eventful week. The quandary continues and upon being questioned as to which of the three contestants should be eliminated according to her, Ila Arun simply said, "All three contestants to me are like fingers of the same hand and it would be impossible to decide which of the three can be severed off" to which Javed Akhtar replied, "One can make a choice if one has to as all fingers are not the same" insisting that she gives her viewpoint.
While the judges, faculty and contestants are going though a trying time, viewers have once again proved their enthusiasm. They have voted to save Rex who has won the viewers vote by receiving over 10 million votes. The contestants voted for big brother Shamit for the third time making their preference more than evident. Javed Akhtar, who had been constantly advising Mona to be more expressive during her performances and bring out the essence of the song through her voice and expressions, felt that she had managed to get everything right this time. They felt that it was most unfortunate to let her go after she had overcome all her inhibitions finally. Javed Akhtar and Shankar Mahadevan both assured her that they will meet again, but instead of Fame Gurukul, it will be at a recording studio. Rex D'souza on his part was content that he managed to give his sister the perfect Raksha Bandhan gift by making a comeback.
