In a recent interview, Karan Johar claimed that this year around he was just going to have a quiet birthday at home. Well, clearly his friends had other plans because they threw him a bash, and of course Bollywood came in full attendance. Interestingly Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif showed up together, along with Ranbir's BFF Ayan Mukerji.

Gauri Khan, on the other hand, showed up alone; Shah Rukh Khan didn't attend the bash. No need to worry, though – he had a Filmfare shoot booked that went into the wee hours of the morning, leading him to skip the celebrations.
