Jay Soni dances on a car roof
The sweet boy of television, Jay Soni, outwitted everyone during a recent awards show, when he danced to Phir mohabbat karne chala hai tu with Sanskaar co-star Shamin Mannan on the roof of a car.
On being asked about the experience, he said, "It was really very difficult especially because of my hectic schedule. I had 42 hours of shoot and slept only for four hours. It was a live act and I had just 2 hours of rehearsals and that only once. I was very nervous while performing as the car was moving, and even I had to move on it. It was very difficult. At that point in time, I just concentrated on giving my best. But it was worth it as after the dance, when I went backstage, choreographer Geeta Kapoor just hugged me while everybody was clapping and cheering. After that, when my crew members told me that the lack of sleep did not show on my face, I was on top of the world."
But is Jay a professional dancer? "I have learnt a bit of salsa and street dance," he said.
