The Actor or Story

Hey.

Well, everyone knowz that Iqbal is leaving, but i just wanted to no does it really matter?

I mean, whut i'm trying to say is that we do watch Ektaz serials for her actors as well as concepts, but lets say the story line stayz as planned, even after he leaves...will any of you really stop watching.

the question lies in wether as viewers, we watch for the eye candy, or concepts?

ps...have any of you noticed how Ekta starts her dramas off with a bang, and gradually they seem to dwindle down. Her actors start leaving, her story linez become insane. Why the heck does that happen...it drives me crazy.

Only Ekta knows why that happens! 😆 I think she should trying making a soap that doesn't take years n years to end...that would be a gud change...she should try a short, cute love story...her concepts are gud sometimes, but like u said, they drag a lot and after the Big Bang, they turn lousy...KAA is a gud example, it started out gud, but this kundali thing is going nowhere nowadays...

With me, the question isn't abt Iqbal leaving or not...He was in today's epi but i still didn't watch it out of mere exasperation at where this story is heading...so for me, the story is THE most important thing, then come the actors, and if BOTH the story AND the actors are awesome, i stick to that show....KAA was like that in the beginning, but now despite the fact that Iqbal and Pallavi are gud actors, the storyline is bringing the show down for me... 😭

I wish the story'd improve and that they'd give a gud justification for shiv's character leaving or dying or whateva(since IQ is leaving) and then finally move on with a gud concept...i wouldn't mind a new shiv as long as he keeps the essence of shiv's character as alive as IQ did.

nicely said soha....i think both are important the actors and story....like u can have a good story but still the serial could be flop if u don't have good actors to play in it...and same goes with actors we need have a good story only then we can see the actors work....

many a times i get the same doubt.😆
well put soha.👏
but i disagree with the fact of ur cute little stories. its hard practically. lot of work for production houses. and they have to attract u everytime they start a new one. so i think thats why they donot do that. if a show has good trp's KSBKBT -for example. why would anyone end it and want to start sth which no one is sure of its status. i am ok with 10years story as long as it is interesting to watch.😊
