Actress Moon Moon is now Moon, thanks to numerology

We were surprised to get this SMS from Moon Moon last evening which said, 'Hey people, my name is being changed to Moon from Moon Moon. So, from now on kindly call me by my new name and also feed it in your cell phone right away.'

When we called her to ask her what prompted her to change the name, she said that it was numerologically inspired. "I consulted my guru Anubhav Sharma, in Punjab. Not that I was going through a tough phase in my life, but I wanted to try it just for the heck of it. He advised me to drop one Moon from my name, although the spelling remains the same."

Moon adds, "I don't intend to change my name officially at the moment. But informally, I would like people to call me Moon. As it is, people who are close to me, call me Moon."

So what good does she expect to happen once the change happens? "I'm sure it will do me some good. I may become a little more patient," she laughs.
