Since both Nisha & Sachin won the 1st round, they are safe đ đ
The other 2 teams :- Doyel-Yasmin (blue team) & Navneet-Ripu (red team) face the next challenge - Ice Cream challenge!
They're taken to the Amul ice cream factory in Anand (?)
The judges the give out the challenge - they have to make 50 litres of ice cream! Everyone's shocked đ˛ đ˛ đ˛ đ˛
Then Kunal tells them that they will be provided the readied base & all they have to do is make the flavour concentrate, about 5-10 lit!
Then both the teams are informed that they should make list of the ingredients they require (in kgs) These are then given to the factory employees who deliver the stuff
The teams are given 2 hrs to make the concentrate. Then after the ice cream is made, they will be driven to the street famous for food stalls & thronged by foodies. They have to sell their ice cream till 10 pm
The people will vote using coloured tokens. The team with the most tokens wins while the other team will go into the akhri daav!
RN team decides to make thandai-paan-gulkand flavoured ice cream while DY decide on jalebi-saunf-elaichi-basundi flavour
R says N makes good thandai & therefore he got to work on that grinding nuts. While R started on the gulkand chikki, but didn't know that sugar doesn't need water to melt & caramelisation is a tricky process {SP is fooling itself if it thinks that a MC contestant doesn't know these basics đĄ} Result, the sugar burns & overflows. Kunal-Vikas tell him to start over while N informs that he shouldn't add water.
D starts working on the basundi while Y starts the jalebi batter. While cooking the milk for the basundi, D also starts cooking the saunf-elaichi in water to extract the flavour. As a result, the milk burns {SP takes us for fools đĄ} K-V tell D she should've kept stirring the milk & Y calmly tells her to start over.
Meanwhile the judges state that it's a tough task as the teams have to make such a huge quantity of ice cream. Before that can be made, they'll have to make 5-10 lit of flavour. The task is made even tougher since they can't even taste the flavour (to see if it came out right or not) because it's very concentrated.
At the end of 2 hrs, both teams put the assorted flvourings into small drums & large bowls. Then they're asked to take the stuff to the ice cream making section of the factory.
Precap - Both teams are serving ice creams & requesting people to vote for them.
Sanjeev is taking out the tokens & then states the box is empty!
The clear bowls contain the red & blue tokens & the blue ones are less than the reds!
