Shaadi Mubarak! Arjun& Gurdip

"We are still under the just-married hangover and I want to enjoy the side-effects too," quips Arjun Punj. He and Gurdip held a reception for family and friends, last Friday nigh, at a suburban hotel.

The couple was seen mingling with the guests. "We decided to do away with the conventional custom of guests standing in a queue to meet the couple on the dais. Instead, we recieved them, which is what a reception implies," says Arjun.

Looking stunning in a magenta pink sequinned bridal ensemble, Gurdip who played the lead character Vedika in 'Sinndoor' (Zee) gushed, "At last, I have applied maang mein sindoor in real-life too ." The scene-stealer at the venue was Gurdip's ma-in-law as she danced gracefully. Looking at her, Arjun quipped in jest, "My mom (Bala Punj) should have been our choreographer for 'Nach Baliye 2' . It might have made a difference."

Gurdip plans to resume work with new assignments only in February next year, as she is in no mood to interrupt her euphoric long break,

The couple is expected to fly down to Goa to attend the wedding of their close buddy actor Manoj Bidwai who will be tying the knot with actor Ravee Gupta there.
