i realy wana but u know my excuse...

after reading this update i couldnt stop from saying u that...

i could fel the pain our virman are going through in this FF...

seriuosly u nailed it...the way u wrote their emotional turmoil is outstanding...

hatt's off to u dear...:)

i m looking forward to the day when manvi will get to kno about her daughter...

i want her to slap him...i really do...how can he keep a mother away from her child...

but atlast i want virman to be together too...😆

~Recap~

Viraat and Maanvi came back to their senses as the heard people applauding for him. He looked up and saw his Maanvi, standing there looking shocked. While Maanvi was looking at him, who was looking confused. Then the reality hit both of them, they were standing four feets away from each other. The dance, that they thought they were doing together, was just their dream...their imagination...Disappointed and hurt Maanvi looked away to hide her tears yet again from everyone who were present in the hall.

~Viren & Mannat~

Mannat: (without looking at him) Bale Papa?
Viren: (without looking at her) Hm..
Mannat: Papa kab tak aayeinge?

Mannat and Viren were sitting on the couch, watching Tv.

Viren: Pata nahi Mannu.
Mannat: (turns to face him) Mannu nahi...(stops)

Viren looked at her confusedly and a little surprised.

Viren: Ruk kyun gayi aage bolo.
Mannat: (smiles) Nahi Bale Papa, aap mujhe Mannu bula chakhte ho. (No Bade Papa, you can call me Mannu.)
Viren: (eyes narrowed) Acha? Aise achanak aap kaise palat gayi? Kuch din se dekh raha hun, aapne kaha nahi ki Bale Papa Mannu nahi Mannat. Baat kya hai?
Mannat: (looking down) Nahi Bale Papa, bach, mujhe yeh naam pachand hai. (No Bade Papa, its just that I like this name.)
Viren: Mannat, sach sach batao, kya baat hai?
Mannat: (fake smile/looking at him) Kuch nahi Bale Papa.
Viren: Mannu, batao mujhe.
Mannat: Bale Papa Chhachi mein, kuch nahi hai, mujhe neendi aa lahi hai, good night. (Really Bade Papa, its nothing. I'm feeling sleepy, good night.)

With that she hop out of the couch and ran away from Viren, to her bed.

Viren: Mannat..Mann...

~Kapoor Mansion~

Saurab: (smiles) Wow, kya gaaya hai apne VSV,,sorry sorry..Viraat.
Ananya: Thank You so much aaj apne yeh din mere liye aur yaadgar bana diya.
Mr. Kapoor: Yes Viraat, awesome song, awesome voice, just loved it.
Viraat: (smiles) Thank you so much.
Mrs. Kapoor: (smiles) Jiske liye gaaya bahut khaas hogi tumhare liye, kyun?
Viraat: (painful smile) Ji, (looking at Maanvi) par main uske liye khas nahi.

Everyone looked at him confusedly, while Maanvi looked down.

Viraat: Um, well forget that, (looking at Saurab and Ananya) congratulation to you both.
Saurab & Ananya: (smiles) Thank you so much.
Mrs. Kapoor: Acha ab rasmein shuru karein?
Mr. Kapoor: Haan haan chalo.

Mr. & Mrs. Kapoor walked away with Saurab and Ananya, towards the stage, where the ceremony was going to take place. Maanvi forced a smile on her lips and turned towards them, while Viraat was looking at Maanvi, unable to move his gaze away from her. But soon his eyes left her and went on a guy who was looking at HIS MAANVI, with a smile, looking all dreamy. His eyes burned with jealousy, he so wanted to punch that guy on his face as an result of looking at His Wife in that way.

Mr. Kapoor: (looking at Viraat) Viraat aao, (looking at Maanvi) Maanvi tum bhi aao, yahan kyun khadi ho.
VirMan: (smiles) Ji..

Viraat and Maanvi looked at each other. Maanvi looked down and walked away. Viraat looked at that guy once again, who was still staring at Maanvi, and followed her.

Mrs. Sharma: Saurab, anguthi pehnao meri Bahu ko.

Saurab slipped the ring onto Ananya's ring finger, and she blushed. Maanvi smiled, remembering her engagement with her Viraat. Viraat's lips curved into a cute smile, seeing her smiling. Ananya, then slipped the ring onto Saurab's finger.

Mr. Kapoor: Chalo ab tum dono ek dor se bandh gaye ho jo kabhi nahi tutegi.

VirMan once again looked up at each other.

Viraat: (to himself) Kash..kash ki yeh sach hota. Kash yeh dor itni mazboot hoti, jisse do dil kabhi alag nahi hote.
Maanvi: (to herself) Dor toh bas dor hoti hai, usse mazboot vishwas karta hai, agar vishwas hi nahi, toh yeh dor bahut kamzor padh jaati hai.
Mr. Kapoor: Acha yeh sab toh ho gaya, ab thoda dance ho jaye.
Mrs. Kapoor: Haan chalo saare couples dance floor pe.

Almost all the young couples, including Saurab and Ananya, and excluding Viraat and Maanvi, went to the dance floor, along with Mr. & Mrs. Kapoor. The song started play and every couples started moving on the music. Viraat and Maanvi were standing a little far away from each other, Maanvi was looking at the couples dancing while Viraat was busy staring at her and the guy who was still busy looking at Maanvi. Viraat's eyes popped out as he saw that guy walking towards His Maanvi. Without delaying, her hurriedly walked towards her before he reached her. Maanvi looked at Viraat confusedly, just as she was about ask him something, that guy reached there.

Avi: Um, Maanvi, dance karogi mere saath?

Maanvi looked at Avi with a confused smile. Viraat was just glaring at him, shooting fire with his eyes at him. Maanvi was about to say something but before that she found her hand held by someone. She looked down at her hand and saw Viraat holding it firmly. She looked up at him, only to see him shooting deadly glares at Avi.

Maanvi: Woh..
Viraat: (at Avi) Yeh mere saath hai, sorry.

Avi seemed a little scared of Viraat's tone, he gave him a fake smile and walked away.

Maanvi: (looking at Viraat) Sir main...

Viraat looked at Maanvi angrily, making her shut up. She gulped and looked down.

Mr. Kapoor: Hey Viraat, Maanvi, aao na tum dono bhi dance karo.

Mr. Kapoor came to Viraat and Maanvi, along with Saurab and Ananya. Viraat left her hand, that he was holding.

Viraat: Nahi Sir, main theek hun.
Mr. Kapoor: Oh com'on ek dance toh banta hai.
Ananya: (smiles) Haan bilkul, chaliye hum dance karte hain.
Viraat: Nahi main...
Ananya: Chaliye na.

Ananya held his hand and pulled him in the middle of the hall, leaving Maanvi, Saurab, and Mr. Kapoor behind.

Mr. Kapoor: Maanvi, tum bhi chalo, aise nahi chalega.
Maanvi: Nahi Sir, main nahi..
Saurab: Chalo na Maanvi, bas ek dance.
Maanvi: Nahi please.
Saurab: (hold her hand) Chalo...

With that, Saurab dragged Maanvi with him to the dance floor, beside Viraat. Mr. Kapoor went back to Mrs. Kapoor, dancing with her, while watching Saurab and Maanvi dancing together, with a smile. The song was playing, Maanvi was smiling while talking to Saurab and Viraat was just looking at Saurab and Maanvi, burning in jealousy.

Viraat: (to Ananya, without looking at her) I'm sorry, main aur nahi dance kar sakhta.

Viraat left Ananya and walked away, gaze still fixed on Maanvi and Saurab. He went to the bar, which was on the corner of the hall, and asked for a vodka. He looked at Maanvi and Saurab again, who were still talking and laughing. His gaze went towards Mr. & Mrs. Kapoor who were smiling looking at Saurab and Maanvi together.

~Flashback~

Mr. Kapoor: Tumhe pata hai, main toh isse apni ghar ki hi Bahu banana chahta tha.

~Present~

Viraat pickup the shot of vodka and gulped it down, along with 3-4 more. After getting drunk, he walked out of the hall. Maanvi looked around and got worried, as she didn't find Viraat anywhere around. She looked at Ananya, who was talking to her parents.

Maanvi: Um, Saurab tum Ananya ke paas jao, (smiles a little) mujhe apni Di ko call karna hai.
Saurab: Ok.

Saurab went away, while Maanvi kept looking around the hall, in search of her Husband.

Here Viraat was standing outside, as he couldn't see His Wife with someone else.

Viraat: (drunk tone) Maan..Maanvi...kyun kiya aisa..???

He walked towards his car and stopped there.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Maanvi, in search of Viraat, came outside of the hall and saw him standing near his car. She hurriedly ran towards him as she saw him losing his balance.

Maanvi: (holds his arms) Sir, aap..aap thik toh ho...?

Viraat looked at Maanvi and gave her a cute smile.

Viraat: Tum..Tum aa gayi...(smiles widely) mujhe pata tha..tum, tum aaogi.
Maanvi: (worriedly) Sir aap..
Viraat: (finger on her lips) Sshhh...Yeh kya Sir Sir laga rakha hai haan? Mera Sir(head) firana hai kya?
Maanvi: (moves his hand down) Aapne pi huyi hai?
Viraat: (smiles) Haan, pi hui hai maine. (angerily yet cutely) Kya karlogi tum?
Maanvi: Sir, aap..(pointing towards the car) andar chaliye, hume ghar jaana hai.
Viraat: (confused) Ghar? Kaunsa Ghar? Kiska Ghar?
Maanvi: Aapka Ghar, chaliye.
Viraat: (shouts at her cutely) Nahi, nahi mujhe nahi jaana, nahi jaana.
Maanvi: Kyun?
Viraat: (frowns cutely) Woh ghar mein tum nahi ho na, kaatne ko daudta hai woh ghar, (nodding negatively) nahi jaana. Wahan tumhari (hands spread out a little) itni...nahi nahi...(hands spread out wide) ITNI yaad aati hai.

Viraat once again was about to loose his balance when Maanvi held his arm.

Maanvi: Sir..
Viraat: (fingers on his lips) Shhh...no Sir. Viraat. (smiles) Maanvi ka Viraat.

Maanvi looked at him with tear filled eyes.

Viraat: (holds her hands) Apni Maanvi ka Viraat. Sirf uska, aur kisi ka nahi. Waise hi Viraat ki Maanvi, jo sirf uska hai, aur kisika nahi.

Tears rolled down her eyes, which kind of irritated Viraat. He turned her over, now her back was against the car, and him in front of her. He leaned close to her and wiped her tears away with his thumb. Maanvi was just looking at him with so much love held in her eyes for him.

Viraat: (worriedly) Ro kyun rahi ho? (cutely) Maine toh abhi danta bhi nahi.
Maanvi: (looking down) Woh..
Viraat: Maanvi...

Maanvi looked up at him, looking very innocent, very cute. Viraat moved his hand up towards her face and pushed away some strands of hair that were on her face. His fingers traveled down, towards her neck, she closed her eyes feeling his cold fingers on her neck.

Viraat: (softly) Maanvi...

Maanvi opened her eyes only to see him leaning even more close to her, his gaze fixed on her lips.

Viraat: Maanvi...I Love You.

Her heart skilled billions and billons of beats, at his confession. Her lips curved into a big smile, Viraat looked up at her eyes, which were filled with tears of love and joy.

Viraat: (looking at her passionately) I Love You.

Viraat leaned more close to her, but this time with his eyes closed. Maanvi also closed her eyes as she felt his warm breath on her lips. Her heart started beating at a uncontrolable rate, along with his. The next second, their lips met. Both of them didn't move their lips, it just stayed put there, but soon, Maanvi moved her hands up, towards his neck, and Viraat wrapped one of his hand around her waist, while the other tangled in her hair. He captured her lips into his and kissed her passionately. Soon Maanvi started responding to the kiss, pulling him even more onto her, as her fingers ran through his hair. Viraat pulled her up by her waist, off of the ground, kissing her with all the love he had for her. Maanvi's tears rolled down, in between their lips, increasing their passion even more for each other. Viraat pulled away from the kiss only to capture her lips in his once again. Never wanting to let go, Viraat moved his hand all over her bare back, while Maanvi keep on playing her fingers on his hair, kissing each other madly. After sometime, they broke apart, breathing heavily after that long, passionate kiss. Viraat pulled Maanvi onto him, and hugged her as tight as he could.

Viraat: (teary eyes) Maanvi...Maanvi please...please mujhe ab, ab kabhi chodh kar mat jaana, kabhi bhi nahi. (tears rolled down his cheeks) Main ab jee nahi paunga tumhare bagair.

Viraat pulls apart and cups her face.

Viraat: Nahi jaogi na? Nahi jaogi mujhe chodh ke?
Maanvi: (tears streaming her face) Nahi, nahi jaungi, Kabhi nahi jaungi...kahin nahi jaungi. Tum toh nahi jao ge na?
Viraat: (pulls her back in his arms/smiles) Nahi Maanvi, kahin nahi jaunga. (eyes closed) Mujhe tumhari zarurat hai Maanvi, hum sabko tumhari zarurat hai Maanvi...Mannat ko tumhari zarurat hai Maanvi...
Maanvi: (confused) Mannat...?
Viraat: (holding her as tight as he could) Mannat ko tumhari zarurat hai Maanvi, HUMARI BETI KO TUMHARI ZARURAT HAI MAANVI, PLEASE HUME CHODH KAR MAT JAO. Humari Mannat ko humari zarurat hai.

Maanvi's hands dropped down, she stood there motionless. Mannat, her daughter, whom she considered as a still-born baby, is alive.

~Chaudhary House, Delhi~

Jeevika: Mujhe aaj Maanvi ko sab sach batana hi hoga, batana hoga, ki aaj tak jiss bacche ko woh mara hua samjh rahi thi, woh zinda hai.

Jeevika sitting on the couch, hugging her knees and crying her heart out. Virika came there, rubbing her eyes as she just woke up from her sleep.

Virika: (worriedly) Mama aap lo kyun lahi ho??

Jeevika immediately wiped her tears and forced a smile, looking at Virika.

Jeevika: Nahi Beta, (wiping her tears) bas aankh mein kuch chala gaya tha.
Virika: Oh, main nikal dun? Dard ho raha hoga na aapko?
Jeevika: (trying to hold back her tears) Haan Beta, bahut dard ho raha hai, par yeh nikal nahi sakhta.
Virika: Kyun Mama? Lao main nikal deti hun.

Virika walked towards Jeevika and placed her little hands on her cheeks.

Virika: (keenly looking into her eyes) Sachi mein kuch nahi dikh laha Mama.
Jeevika: Nahi dikhega Viri, bahut dard ho raha hai, aur yeh sab meri hi galti hai.
Virika: (cutely/frowns) Kyun? Aapne kya kiya?
Jeevika: Kisi se kuch chupaya hai maine.
Virika: Acha? Toh aapke ankhon mein kya ho gaya?
Jeevika: Yeh meri galti ki saza hai Beta.
Virika: Saza? (wipes her tears) Aap fikal mat kalo Mama, aapko koi saza nahi dega.
Jeevika: Sab waisa hi rahega na?
Virika: (smiles) Haan Mama, kuch nahi hoga, kuch nahi hoga aapki aankhon ko.

Jeevika smiled with tears and hugged Virika tightly.

Jeevika: Thank you Baby.

After sometime, Virika fell asleep in Jeevika's arms. She took her in her bedroom and placed her on the bed. She covered her with a duvet and went out of the room after turning off the lights. She was just about to walk to her room, door bell ranged. She wiped her tears and went to open the door. As she opened the door, her sad expression changed into a shocked and worried one, seeing Maanvi standing in front of her without any expression, along with a drunk/unconscious Viraat, who's arm was around Maanvi's shoulder.

Jeevika: (confusedly) Mannu yeh sab kya hai..? Viraat..?

Maanvi, without saying a word, moved inside, taking Viraat along with her, to her bedroom. Jeevika closed the door and hurriedly went towards Maanvi's room. Maanvi gently placed Viraat's head on the pillow, to which he smiled and cuddled to. Maanvi covered him with a duvet and turned around to leave. Without paying any attention to Jeevika, she walked out of the room, after turning off the light and closing the door behind. Jeevika followed Maanvi, confused and worriedly.

Jeevika: Mannu, Mannu yeh sab kya hai? Viraat Yahan?
Maanvi: (without turning towards her) Mannat...

Jeevika heart stopped at Maanvi's word.

Jeevika: (tears filled her eyes) Mannu..?

Maanvi turned around to face Jeevika, without any tears, without any expression.

Maanvi: Mannat...

Jeevika stood numb in front of Maanvi, her fear came true. Maanvi came to know the truth from Viraat.

Maanvi: (angrily, shouts at her) Mannat...Meri Beti...meri Bacchi...Manant. Jisse main aaj tak maara...(closes her eyes) maara hua samjhti thi. (opens her eyes) Woh zinda hai ya nahi?
Jeevika: Mannu...
Maanvi: (suppressing her anger) Jhut mat bolna Di, meri Bacchi zinda hai ya nahi?
Jeevika: (crying/trying to make her understand) Mannu please meri baat toh suno...
Maanvi: (stouts at the top of her lungs) Haan ya Na Di?
Jeevika: Maanvi..
Maanvi: (controlling herself) Mujhe sirf haan ya na mein jawab chahiye. Meri Beti Zinda Hai Ya Nahi?

Jeevika broke down and dropped down on the ground, crying her heart out in front of Maanvi, who was standing there fuming in anger. Even though she was fuming with anger, she still couldn't see her Di crying right in front of her. But she had to be strong, she had to be strong in order to find out the truth. She turned her back towards Jeevika, hiding her tears that just rolled down her cheeks.

Maanvi: (eyes closed) Meri Beti Zinda hai aap yeh baat janti thi ya nahi Di?
