So our PV officially ended on Zee Tv and our journey with Aarti and Yash comes to an end. But they will live on in the mind of the viewers who witnessed their journey for the last 15 months. The last day and I had to put down my thoughts for one last time. 😳

I am at peace. Yes, there may be days when I reflect and think about what else could have been done or could it have been different but I don't think those reflections will ever take away from the fact that I found my own closure in my own way with this story.

I remember watching the promos and instantly falling in love with these two characters who were obviously attracted to each other yet hesitancy and fear of something held them back from each other. It was them standing on the cusp of this known and the unknown path that drew us to them and made us want to know what their story would be like. How would they climb out of this abyss they find themselves in? How would they walk together, freeing themselves from the fears of the past? How would they find the courage to fall in love with life and with each other? And I can with conviction say that the last 15 months beautifully showed how they were able to do that. That last scene where Yash and Aarti hugs each other in contentment with the Yeh Dil Hai song playing in the background will forever be imprinted in my memory. Do I wish the ending was shown a little differently, maybe with the kids who were such an important part of their journey- yes I do- but for that I will remember the scene where the entire family had their group hug during Aayu's naming ceremony.

Yash and Aarti and the Phone: I loved the phone conversation. Just seeing Yash so happy and so in love with his Aarti ji was the most amazing thing to watch. During the early days of PV, Yash had hardly a word to say. We all then wondered how in the world will he come out of his trauma. At the time it seemed such a monumental task yet here we are 15 months later watching him gleeing and throwing kisses at his Aarti ji. The most precious scene ever.

Yash and Divya: I also liked the scene between Yash and Divya. Again, is this the same Yash who used to walk around like a zombie? Is this the same Yash who was so detached with the rest of the world? His conversation with Divya was so beautiful to watch because it just struck you how much he has learnt from his Aarti ji. He has learnt to live and to believe in the best always and not just that but also to make others believe in their best. He has learnt to inspire others to reach for the stars. He has learnt to find happiness in everything around him. He probably was like this always but Arpita's death had almost killed him and it took Aarti to re-awaken this side of him. I loved watching him instill that faith in Divya.

The scene was especially poignant for me because I was an ardent fan of CB 1 once upon a time. So it just felt surreal that the first actress on Indian telly that I had really liked sharing the same screen with the actor that I now absolutely adore. It was like coming full circle in my TV watching experience. 😆

Aarti and Sarita: That was quintessentially Aarti. She always gives people hope even when they can't see none. She goes on and on about love and trust and its importance in a relationship. It felt like there was the hand of destiny at play here. Aarti was betrayed by her first husband in the worst way possible and she had entered into a loveless marriage with her second husband who was still in love with his first love (wife). Is it just coincidence or fate that Aarti was there to give out strength to Sarita who may be eventually end up going through similar kind of pain and disillusionment that Aarti went through during different phases of her both marriages combined together.

Aarti's dance: Can Kratika get any more gorgeous than this. She was absolutely stunning. Her outfit, her moves, her expressions- everything. And I keep saying this- she should be in Bollywood. What a beauty. What a talent. What a powerhouse of an actress. What a shame Yash ji wasn't there to witness it. I hope Vidhi or Panku got it on tape and Yash will get to see how his sensual wife was grooving away to glory.

Yash and Aarti back in their haven: It was the cutest thing to watch Aarti sitting with her legs tucked under her and sipping a cup of tea. I absolutely disliked the promotion Yash and Aarti were made to do for Raj, Sarita and Divya. But Yash and Aarti do like to interfere in other people's business. 😆Anyways, I did miss any reference made to the 3 cherubs because of who Yash and Aarti embarked on this relationship. So, I am going to superimpose the image of the group hug they had shared when they were exiled, on the promotion bit. 😆

Finally: the Yeh Dil Hai moment. It was just perfect. It brought back memories of their engagement day when both were asked to go out and speak to each other. They didn't have anything to say to each other neither could they look at each other.

What a closure to that day. Look at them now- in each others arms and absolutely content where they are. Their souls have been craving for their other halves for so long.

Finally, Aarti and Yash have reached home and it is time we let them live their lives away from our prying eyes. ❤️
