I went back in time and checked these two episodes:

This was the week when Zoya found out about "death" of her father. I would say these two episodes are among the best episodes I have seen in my TV viewing history. Actually, the whole week was mesmerizing. I had even used the words that "QH is turning into a show with a rare beauty", and now I am feeling was I too liberal in my praises? Where is that rare beauty that moved, that touched, that haunted? Of course, even before there were dull episodes, Siddiqui house filled episodes, but these much of nonsense was unseen.
I feel that the story has faltered since then. Yes, we got visa track, fake engagement track, airport proposal track and whole nikaah track, but it feels none of the track serve their full purpose and we just to something else with abundant does of Billio rani. These tracks have been quite dramatic, and they have fetched TRPs, so producers and channel must be happy, but the subtle beauty has been lost.
Now, I know every show needs an antagonist, and previous 4Lions shows also had them. I have watched Geet for few months, didn't watch much of IPK. But, I don't remember them getting so outright negative. Geet's vamp Nayantara had a class, the way Razia has a class. I won't put Tanveer in the same sentence as Razia (Razia will hunt me down if I do that 😉) and we are being tortured with her ????
The episodes that I mentioned at start were in the week of April 1st and May will end in 10 days, so for about 40 days, we have been tolerating good amount of nonsense. Is there any end to it? Or, was I made a fool into believing this show into something which it is not in the week of April 1st?
