Everyone is talking about why Asad is turning a blind eye to the happenings around him...is he ignorant or dumb or what? Is being so dumb a part of his character...i don't think so...
Let us take it from the beginning...we all know that he is highly prejudiced, judgemental, narrow minded and egoistic...he does not like being proven wrong...we have seen it repeatedly...in mangalpur, then after dilshaad being shot, he insulting zoya for the fiasco at ayaan's engagement, then the blood switching drama...every single time he has been proven wrong...he has apologized i admit...but uss sorry kya faayda hi kya jo baar baar bolna pade...???
Look closely...here is a man who refuses to learn from his mistakes and thinks he is never wrong...we all want him to use some intelligence and hope he has it all figured out but is pretending so that he can catch the culprit red handed...but do not put past him that he actually thinks tanveer is the target...
He hates anyone who seems to possess even a little more brain than him (for example, Zoya)...She fixed his phone, she figured out the murder conspiracy, she tried to make sense of tanu ka nonsense...all this while Asad was busy trying to prove her wrong...if he is fully convinced that tanveer is the target, trust me he will not believe the truth even if it dances naked in front of his eyes...for him to believe the truth, even though i hate to write this, Zoya will need to almost die...and he needs to see tannu doing it...otherwise..he will not believe even Zoya when she says tannu tried to harm her...he is that egoistic...and ppl...to watch AsYa together he needs to let go of this...
Asad is attracted to Zoya because she is different, she disagrees with him, she does not get intimidated...he likes this challenge...it gives him a kick...but has this attraction transformed into unconditional love...partly yes...but not enough for them to get married...
