Mona Singh She plays: Jessica Walia aka Jassi in Sony daily Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahi. Reel-life situation: When Jassi realises that Armaan exploited her for his business pursuits and played with her emotions she is in no mood to forgive him and ends up slapping him. Real-life reaction: I won't be stupid enough to slap anyone. If the guy in my life utilises me I'll simply walk off and will eventually break up with him. Ronit Roy He plays: Mr Bajaj in Star daily Kasautii Zindagi Kay. Reel-life situation: A sly entrepreneur Mr Bajaj forces Prerna to marry him as he threatened her that he'll take over Basu Publications. Real-life reaction: I would never do such a ridiculous thing. Although he was on the look out for a perfect mother to his kids and reacts in that way as he finds Prerna suiting his bill, it is definitely not done. Nikki Aneja She plays: Dr Simran in Zee daily Astitva — Ek Prem Kahani. Reel-life situation: Dr Simran accepts husband Abhimanyu (Varun Badola), who left her for another woman, when he comes back to her after eighteen years; repenting for his silly and impulsive act. Real-life reaction: I believe it's in a man's DNA to mess around and therefore, every man should be given a second chance, of course if he realizes that he's at fault. But certainly not, if he comes back after eighteen years when I've two grown up daughters. I'll simply shoo him off. Eijaz Khan He plays: Kavya in Star daily Kkavyanjali. Reel-life situation: The affable hero Kavya gets completely manipulated by his mother's tricks. Nitya (Amrita singh) influences his life so much that she even breaks up his marriage. Real-life reaction: It's a ridiculous move from any mother. However, unhappy a mother, she cannot let it reflect on her son's well being. We glorify the evil shades in the soap. It's my appeal to all the mothers who watch it to simply view the soap and forget it. Please don't imitate Nitya. Anuj Saxena He plays: Abhay in Sony daily Kkusum. Reel-life situation: Abhay has his flings with different women on the show and eventually gets married to them. Real-life reaction: Well now that I'm single again so I'm ready to mingle but not too sure about getting married so many times.
Simone Singh She plays: Pia in Zee daily Kasshish. Reel-life situation: Pia gets to know that her husband Anand (Ayub Khan) has been dating her cousin Ratna (Kitu Gidwani). After giving him a deadline she walks out of the defunct marriage. Real-life reaction: I'll probably walk out of the marriage if the man is not ready to resolve his dilemma.
It's a lost cause, as the man continues to live without making up his mind. Kulraj Randhwa She plays: Kareena in Zee daily Kareena Kareena. Reel-life situation: She tells an inconsequential lie in order to bag a good job and has to take on double roles in order to live up to the lie. Real-life reaction: Unless and until it's a grave situation and somebody's life is at stake, I'll never do such a silly thing.
Moulli Ganguly She plays: Kritika in Zee daily Sarrkarr. Reel-life situation: She elopes and marries the son of her mother's (Divya Seth) political rival. She marries Rishab (Tarun Khanna) irrespective of the fact that her in-laws and her own family are at war. Real-life reaction: I really don't know how I would react. Because in moments of extreme anguish and rage you tend to take impulsive decisions. But if the guy I love is a good human being, I might go against my parents. Hussain He plays: Sumit in Star daily Kumkum. Reel-life situation: He lands up marrying his own sister-in-law Kumkum (Juhi Parmar) out of responsibility towards her and can't see her in pain. Real-life reaction: I can't even imagine it happening to me. It's definitely inspired from real life but it can happen only in villages. I'll probably do something else to make her life better, than marry her. Shama Sikander She plays: Pooja in Sony daily Ye Meri Life Hai. Reel-life situation: She sacrifices her love interest for her family and her sister lands up marrying the man she wanted to spend her life with. Real-life reaction: Of course family comes first for me. I'll sacrifice my love any day for my family. |
