I just wanted to thank these two wonderful actors who enacted the scene so well. They always do but today was special because Asad realized and accepted his feelings today and his mother played an instrumental role in that.

I would particularly want to emphasize on Dilshad's dialogue where she mentions that it's not necessary to be alike to fall in love but to be there for each other ...it's so true!

It was an amazing episode.

Its been a while since we saw good writing on the show but boy that Dilshaad-Asad conversation was just a brilliant piece of writing. I love how they portrayed Dilshaad as the level-headed mother who knows her son very well. She brought up his insecurities and help clear them with cool logic and sensibility. I love how she brought up Asad's Rashid insecurity and assured him that he couldn't hurt anyone like that.

I also liked that Dilshaad acknowledged that Zoe was not perfect but she recognized that her son and his museebat were perfect for each other. After all at the end of the day attraction and lust only take you so far. It is true companionship, trust, friendship and intellectual sparring and conversation that constitute some of the elements of love and I loved that it was mature conversation about such a strong emotion. India telly dramas have a habit of overdoing and over romanticizing the emotion but this conversation was poignant and meaningful to what the emotion truly is.

Side note: KSG and Shalini were just brilliant! Hats off to some of best acting I have ever seen on Indian tv!

It was a very well written episode...the dialogues were so meaningful...I also think the actress who plays Appi was great too...waiting for Monday.

I agree! Sangeeta Kapure was fantastic! I really love aapi as a character. What a wonderful woman! First for adopting Zoya, second for loving her possibly more than anything in the world and thirdly for being ready to yell at Asad, Dilshie and Najma for even thinking of taking advantage of HER Zoya. Zoya is truly lucky to have such a parent/sister/guardian.

Couldn't agree more. They are both wonderful actors. In fact, all their heart to heart chats since the beginning of the show have been a treat to watch. All moms and kids should have such a candid relationship.
