He knew he was not supposed to do this but he was hardly in a position to think rationally. Two years of his stay in the place, he had allowed her to come too close to him and now, it was hard to push her away from him. He tried, had been trying, but failed in that. She was stubborn, who wanted to be with him, and tonight, there was no backing off. She wanted this, as much as he wanted. When he saw her the first time, he knew he could not ignore the sparks he had. With two longs years of fighting within himself, he gave up for once and for all, allowing his desires took over him, not caring about the aftermath of his actions.
He had been wanting for this more than he liked to think. Lowering, he trailed his mouth down her neck as his hand gripped her shirt, pulling it impatiently, popping out the buttons. His eyes fixed on her exposed skin with her black lace lingerie contrasting her milky skin. Beautiful, he thought with a smirk. Just the way he thought about her. Throwing the shirt away on the floor, he cupped her br***ts while his mouth crushed on hers, making her swallow a groan in his throat. Her hands moved up from his chest, to his shoulders, around his neck and settled on his hair, pulling towards her. She asked, in her actions, what she wanted and he had no intentions on not giving just that. Not tonight. Not after the long wait. The morning had their separation in store for him. The dawn would bring another chapter in his life, with another case, and he would be surrounded by criminals.
Pushing those thoughts aside, he focused on the girl in his arms. He held her to him, his hands on her ass as he strode her to the bed behind her. He pinned her hands in one of his, above their heads, his mouth worshipped her body. The room filled with her moans, encouraging him further. "Don't,"she whispered when he slowed down, making him look at her, "stop…", and arched her body to him, pressing against him.
But however, he had other things going on in his mind. With a turn, he made her on top of him and smirked. Unclipping her lingerie with one swift motion, he winked at her. "For tonight," he said, his voice rasped and rough with naked desire in the tone, "I want you to have control over me. f**k me the way you like it, babe. Do it."
The smirk on her face satisfied him. She liked the idea. She had always had this wish to have control over him and he gave her just the same. The second that she wished to have from him out of three. The first being accepting his lust on her and he was giving it for tonight; the third being him to keep her near him forever; which he would never do. He never did relationships and he was not going to change it at any cost. She sat up and straddled him, while his hands did their job in worshipping, and guiding her. Closing his eyes, he captured the moment, her moans, and his groans, in this darkly lit room. Far from the world, near to her, he felt content. Satisfied.
"Arnav"
She moaned his name as she fell on him after a long time, tired. Tears made its way and fell on his chest as he kissed her head. He patted her back, up and down, and smiled hearing her steady breaths. Bringing his arms around her in a tight yet comfortable grip, he thought about her and his stay in the place. The path he chose as his career was dangerous. He had no guarantee on his own life, and he never wanted to put her in his path. Every second, he played with death. He had plans and he was glad to succeed in them. He knew she would be broken, and what they had between them changed drastically, after their actions a while ago. But she knew that it was the only thing he could offer to her and she hugged that with a smile. It was bound to happen. The first rays of sun made its way to the room, radiating her face with glow. Kissing her for the last time, he placed her on the bed, carefully, pulled the quilt over her and dressed himself. "Goodbye," he whispered in her ears with broken voice.
With one last glance, he left the room… and her.

Arnav Singh Raizada rolled his eyes under his sun glasses.
Nothing would irritate him much as an early morning meeting did. He was never an early riser and his boss, much to his annoyance, would have the meeting set at 8 AM every Monday. Controlling his rising temper, Arnav took his seat and set the Starbuck's coffee on the table in the conference hall number 7. He watched the file cover for a long minute before opening it to check the matter for the meeting. It was hard to set his mind in the room. Monday morning's meetings were always an update of what was going on in everyone's cases. He never understood why the boss insisted it on Mondays, instead of Saturdays. What surprised him was that the boss asked for him to have a private conversation at 7, which meant only thing. He was going to have another assignment.
It was just Friday that he wrapped up an operation that he had been working for months now. It was, of course, successful and all Arnav wanted to do was to have a good hour's sleep and catch up with his family for a while. The last time he met them was three years ago, during his younger brother's wedding. Though he was being in contact with them every now and then, his mother was acting weird for a while, calling him up twice a day and having long lectures and sentimental talks, saying that he was not caring for her or the family and that they lost their son years ago.
He needed a break from his job, his family had ordered. He was supposed to meet a woman that evening and he wanted to screw it up at any cost. Nothing or no one could make him change his opinion on the matter. True, people in his department would have their personal lives and it was because of their own personal opinions. Arnav had no interest to have a life other than his job, at least for now. He never gave a thought regarding the matter. Now, all he wanted to do was escape from the hall and close his blind date for the day. It was his fifth date in past two months that had been arranged by his family.
He watched his boss a.k.a special agent in charge of Delhi branch, Ajit Verma, in his late fifties; enter the hall with a Starbuck's coffee cup. It was clear to Arnav that he was going to have another hectic job ahead. With a sigh, he settled on his seat comfortably, as his boss grinned at him, pointing the file. "I hope you are aware of that, Raizada," he asked with a hint of sarcasm dripped from his voice, "I want you to take care of this, starting from now."
"And what exactly the case is about?"
Arnav asked in return without commenting and heard his boss say, "why don't you go to the scene and look at it yourself? You will be thrilled, trust me." It was the end of the conversation; he could see it as his boss called out another officer to be sent into the hall. With a sigh, Arnav took the file and cup and made his way to the destination.
It took 45 minutes for him to reach the destination. He took in the crowd surrounded the vehicles. Media people started covering the news, informing whatever news they had and few were questioning the Inspector. With a stern glance over the crowd, he instructed the constable to clear them in a minute and made his way to the hotel room. There he saw the couple lay on motionless, man on the floor and woman on the bed. He watched the Inspector running towards him and nodded as the man filled in the details. "Good Morning, Agent Raizada. The room service got a blank call and when checked, found them dead. We got the call around 5:30 and informed the CBI by 6:15."
Arnav nodded at the Inspector, taking in the surroundings and the bodies. "Send them to the forensic lab," he instructed and examined the bag that was on the coffee table, "and why does the CBI involved in the matter?"
"The man is the leading politician's illegitimate son." That brought him to look at the crime, Arnav thought. Emptying the bag, he found woman's accessories, few credit cards and an album with the couple in compromising positions. "This might be a blackmail case then," the Inspector offered his guess on the case, watching the photos along with him, "considering his background."
Not commenting back, he said in a low voice, "thanks for filling me up, and I would like the police department back off from this case, Inspector." With that, he called up his team and informed them to meet him at the place. After saying the account numbers, he asked one of the members,"bring the records on these credit cards, Aman, and details on the transactions the cards had from past 48 hours."
Thanking a constable for offering the coffee, he walked to the window, his gaze fixed on the road. This was the routine of his life from past ten years. Meeting criminals, solving the mysterious murders and few undercover operations and few torturous meeting with his supposedly prospective brides by his mother's force and rejecting them successfully… he was content. But there was that void in his heart that had created when he left her never allowed him to be at peace. Closing his eyes, he welcomed the pain with her eyes twinkling at him.
