Chapter 27
Hussain: Asad! Quickly take her to the doctors.
Asad: No way. The doctors is too far.
Hussain: Okay. How about bring her inside and I'll call the doctor.
Asad Nodded and brought her back inside Hussain's house.
While waiting for the doctor, rubbed her hand hoping she would regain consciousness.
After 20 minutes of waiting, the doctor had finally arrived. He went straight to the living room where Zoya laid on the sofa, unconscious.
The doctor did a check up and then turned to Asad.
Doctor: Has she had an major injuries in the last 2-3 months?
Asad: No.
Doctor scratched his head in confusion.
Asad then thought through again. He had a flashback of seeing Zoya lifeless in on the hospital
Asad: Well actually yes she did. It was quite Major.
Doctor: And what was case?
Asad: She had been hit in Traffic, causing many major injuries on her body. She was in the hospital for 3 days but no broken bones.
Doctor: Any head injuries?
Asad: I don't know the details, but I do remember seeing a band aid on her forhead.
The doctor lifted her front hair to see the scars.
Doctor: Seems quiet deep. And how long ago was this?
Asad: just a week ago.
Doctor: ONLY A WEEK?! Is she on medication?
Asad: No.
Doctor: You know you are putting her life at risk. You need to get her medication right away. By the way, what exactly happened?
Asad: Well she got a phone call and couldn't recognise the voice. She was trying to remember the name but before she could she collapsed.
Doctor: Okay. So it is what I thought.
Asad: What is it doctor?
Doctor: Since she hasn't been under proper care, her mind has become weak. The only thing I can interpret from this is that something is triggering her mind whenever she forces her mind too much. I can't be too sure, but it seems as though that is the case.
Asad: So what can I do to help it?
Doctor: Well give her the meds that I prescribe for her and don't give her much stress. Stress can trigger her mind once again and put her in a dangerous situation.
Asad: Alright thanks doctor.
The doctor write down the meds and gave it to Asad. Hussain then walked the doctor outside.
Asad stayed with Zoya. He held her hand tight and closed his eyes. All of a sudden he felt something twitch. He opened his eyes to see Zoya slowly opening her eyes.
Asad: Zoya?
Zoya: Hmm.
She tried to get up but was weak. Asad then helped her get up.
Asad: How are you feeling?
Zoya: I'm fine.
Asad: Can you walk?
She tried to walk forward but always fell over.
Asad: I'll take that as a no.
He put one hand under her neck and the other under her legs and picked her up. Zoya dug her face into his chest, too weak to move. He carried her out to his car and put her softly down on the seat. He shut the door and went to go sit in the drivers seat. Before putting his belt on he reached over to Zoyas belt. Half way there he stopped. His lips were perfectly alligned with Zoya's. They looked into each others eyes. Asad began to move a bit closer as Zoya closed her eyes. Their lips just brushed against each other, causing sparks to fly in side them, but was stoped by a flashback of asads. "Stress can trigger her mind once again and put her in a dangerous situation."
He moved back from her.
Asad: We need to get home fast *he said awkwardly* Ammi must be worried!
Zoya opened her eyes again.
Zoya: Ye- yeah. Lets g- go home.
Zoya weakly put on her seatbelt as Asad started the car.
*30 minutes later*
Asad and Zoya finally reached home. It was a awkward ride home. The whole way home the only thing Zoya could think of was why did Asad move back?
Asad parked the car and helped Zoya walk into the house.
The door was not locked so he walked Zoya in easily. He noticed a note on the table and picked it up.
Out to the Bazaar
-Ammi and Najma.
Asad: Everyone is out of the house
Zoya: Everyone?
Asad: Yup.
He walked her into her room and moved her sheets so it would be easier for her to sit down. She sat down slowly but carefully. Asad was about to walk away when something tugged him. He turned around to see Zoya holding on to his wrist.
