Ravi Kissen
The face and fate of Bhojpuri films have changed off late. Many aspiring and existing producers-directors are inclined towards making and promoting good Bhojpuri films. Bhojpuri cinema has now grown to a large extent and is in a good leaque of acceptance. In this history of Bhojpuri films, a first film to be named as the name of a superstar is being made. The star is none other than "Ravi Kissen" and thus is the film called "Ravi Kissen". Ravi Kissen, in Bhojpuri cinema, is looked up as Amitabh Bacchan of the Hindi cinema. It is worth noting that never a film, in Hindi or for that matter in any regional language as well, has been made in the name of any superstar. Such is the popularity of Ravi Kissen as a star to the audiences that instigated director Amol Shetge to make a film by the name "Ravi Kissen" under the banner of Quantum Films. This film is a double role film, where Ravi Kissen plays both Ravi as well as Kissen. This big budget film stars Ravi Kissen, Sneha, Mona Theba, Jharina Bahav, Avdesh Mishra, Pranay Narayan and others.
Ravi Kissen, the actor, is very excited about his film "Ravi Kissen". His happiness knows no boundaries as he feels that a film to be made in self-name is too much of an appreciation for an actor and that is what excites him the most. About the film Ravi Kissen says, "With this film I have got to play a double role for the first time in my career. In fact, this is the first ever-made Bhojpuri film with a double role in it. I am playing Ravi and Kissen in the film who are identical twins with completely different behavioral characteristics."
About playing the extremists in the same film Ravi Kissen says, "It is very challenging for an actor to play two different roles in the same film. When I play Ravi, I am a simple, traditional boy doing a lot of spiritual and holy things and extremist to this is Kissen who is a cool guy, a very naughty, chirpy, fun loving person. I am enjoying both the characters a lot and I am glad to be here as a film title and as the "heros" of the films. This film is certainly a very challenging film for my career and I cherish it a lot. I have put a lot of hard work and best efforts to bring life to the film and I hope the audience like the film."
Mona Theba, actress of the film is a super star of the Gujarati films. She is known as the "Madhuri Dixit" of the Gujarati films. It is amazing to know that Mona Theba is currently doing five Bhojpuri films and all of them with Ravi Kissen. Sneha, the other actress of the film, is a well-known model. She makes her first step in the Film world with the film "Ravi Kissen".
When asked the director, Mr. Amol Shetge, about having "Ravi Kissen" as the film and in the film, he said, Ravi Kissen is a highly talented actor and knows the core of Bhojpuri cinema. He has the capability to play any kind of roles. The entire concept of the film itself has been made keeping him in mind. He has proved to be the best and the most favorite of the audiences. In the film "Ravi Kissen", he has played two extreme characters with amazing efforts. Both characters though look the same but are played in a manner that both potray two different people on screen. That is what Ravi Kissen can do. He is simply the best and thus he."
Made under the banner of Quantum Films, "Ravi Kissen" is directed by Amol Shetge. The music of the film is given by Satish-Ajay, lyrics by Vinay-Bihari, Rajesh Mishra and Manoj Singh. There are nine beautiful and lively songs in the film. There is one item song as well in the film 'Kiss Kare Gadi Gadi, Kahe Love You RamiyaâŚ' that is picturised on a famous model Kosa. A famous Bhojpuri singer Kalpana sings this song in a very amazing manner. This is the first Bhojpuri film that is being shot in a village near Satara, where Prakash Jha had directed his famous films 'Gangajal' and 'Apaharan'. Cameraman: Ishwar Badri, who has also done films like 'Gulami', 'Yatim', 'Batwara', 'Border' and 'Damini' and others.
