Right from their first chance encounter,till the dargah scene today,they are fated together by destiny.
First Encounter:Madhu is all disturbed by the happenings around her,calling on God for strength and stumbles upon a bound child,trying to save the child and herself from criminals,and there emerges their Saviour from nature/waters with the Divine BG Deva Deva.
Second encounter:-Again she is standing in front of Bappa praying ,and there appears Sultan and takes her away at gun point.
Third Encounter:Sultan shot and she follows Aryan and Kakka,to the hideout and she saves his life by removing the bullet.Divine intervention to save Sultan from the jaws of death.
Again she saves him by returning back and warning them about the goondas.And again prevents him from being spotted by pulling him by the collar.
Brings them to the chawl,influences his life,his first interaction with good people.
HOLI Scene:He applies color on her first,and she applies color on him first,to save him from Bhujangs men.Though the human desire was for something else.
She saves his life yet again.
The pledge btw them for Aryan,estabilishes an unbroken bond btw them
Sultan talks of Naseeb,bringing them into each others lives with madhu.
The gun point threatening,madhu getting personal attacking him about his dead wife and then going and apologising,Sultan calling her his friend,the pub scene,madhu pouring water into the fire not to lie to God,refusing to do Suhaagan puja,their chance meeting outside the mall,then him being invited to their BW theme party,Madhu confiding in him about her plans.
The chance meeting at Paddu's house,madhu talking to him about True Love.Sultan realising that he loves Madhu at the Dargah.
All this confirms that they are bound together by fate/Destiny/Divine intervention.
What Sultan was seeing were visions of madhu with the dupatta being left behind in his hand.She appears and reappears in his life,leaving behind a souvenir of hers in his hand.
Whatever fate has planned for them will happen ,but it will take its own sweet course,and if it is the will of divinity that they be together,then nothing can separate them.But,if not they are forever bound together by the bond of friendship.
