Why do the CVs, Production House, etc. even announce that they're on Twiiter, Facebook?

I am sure they are aware that in the last few years how fantatic fan groups have harassed , verbally abused, and threatened the CVs, producers, writers of other serials. I have personally witnessed this with this show " Dekha Ek Khawb". That show had absolutely the worst, manic fans I have seen so far and all a bunch of teenage girls who watched the show online and contributed ZERO to trps.

With Facebook, I think it's not so much that they announce but that people find it. But I would think that by now they would set their privacy settings so people can't bother them, and that they wouldn't just accept random Friend Requests. I don't know if they do/don't and why they don't.

I agree with you @TM! I have seen this before too...when the fans bombarded the PH and CVs to show just "romance" between the leads and when the CVs obliged, the show bit the dust! I am enjoying BRKD because at present there is no real romance...it is a refreshing change from the usual soaps! 😛

CVs know their job and they should be allowed to tell their story... ..there may come a point when the story deviates from what is promised or promoted due to external reasons, but even then fans interfering never helps! It is too early in BRKD to judge the story and since it is a remake, the CVs have a template ready...and they will make changes necessary keeping in mind the audience of the show in Hindi! We should just leave it to them...
