Have you ever got so much absorbed in music that you forgot every thing else like missing the exit, turning the stove off etc etc. Please share your experience and name the song/music if possible.😕

uh... i was watching a serial...and it had ended... and u know how sony plays songs...
so they played hamesha tumko chaha... I just love that song... everytime i watch that song... 😭

Mom would say something to me... and i'd be completely unaware of what she said... and she'd be like... DIA..JAWAAB DO!!!! 😡 😡 😡 and i'd be like sorry... 😳

I was 14 and my sis was 16. She is a trained carnatic singer and loves to sing. Iam not..so i love to hear :(

Mom asked me to take care of milk in the stove and stepped out while my sis was practising for the school culturals. She was singing my fav raga - sahana. She was doing alaap and i sat listening to her...and left the milk the boil. By the time my mom came back, after 4 minutes..there was hardly any mlk left and i remember her getting really fierce with me. Lucky for me..my sis intervened and i escaped. :)

For me its the song Filhaal jee lene de........
I remember missing my bus stop coz this song was playing in the bus 😛

Things I've done listening to music:

2. Almost broke a table lamp...dancing like a maniac

During SRGMP Challenge 2005, the day Nihira was out, I was supposed to go back to the dorms. But I stayed home to watch the episode and skipped class the next day! 😳 😆 Not something to be proud of...but oh the things I did for that show! 😆 I miss it 😭

Music has never had me engrossed unless the context was right. So I would not really be engrossed in a song like "Dost dost na raha.." but the day one of close friend betrayed my trust - this song kept on playing in my ears all the time and in such circumstances... i have forgotten a lot of things many times.. The day I missed my gf who was travelling for a week, the song "Akele hai chale aao jaha ho" kept on playing in my ears....Its never the song that catches you but the mood the song tries to convey.... Otherwise you could be engrossed in the raga itself on which the song is based... 😊Sadly the current music doesnt hold me in anyway - I was never engrossed with todays tune... i could be excited for a while - like say with a song "Tanhayee..." which is really good composition... or "Kaisi hai yeh rut key"..... The value of the old songs is with that extra X-factor they carry..

When I first heard Devdas Music I was totally lost in dream land😳😆 - Karim drives, I don't, so we were so engrossed in hearing the songs that we lost our exit and had to drive home taking longer route. Isi liye kehte hai ke Devdas Music ROCKS!😉
