it's basically saying that the item girls in a big movie steals the limelight from the main actress in the film like recent example is Shootout W with John..I had no idea Kangana was in the movie because in every promotional event the item girls are there not Kangana.. I feel bad for her

Who the hell is this woman? Make her sit at a Logic 101 class.🤪 How is an item girl number in a film similar to the other woman in a marriage? How is the heroine of the film at par with the item number girl? The former is an integral part, the latter is added to give the film an X factor. Both are supposed to help the film financially, they're not competing against each other for the film. Blame the producers for giving Katrina the item numbers or putting them in the film in the first place. Why blame her?! What a stupid analogy.

But I do think item girls do steal the limelight from the main heroine..am not blaming any actress here...just stating how I feel about item numbers done by a gril who isn't even in the film.

Yes, more often than not, they do steal the limelight away from the heroine of the film. But item numbers aren't a new phenomenon, so I don't understand why this lady is comparing the item girl to the other woman. Item numbers have been in Bollywood films for a long time, since the days of Helen, Bindu etc. Of course they were called something else then but that is besides the point. I personally don't think item numbers should be used as the selling point or the highlight of the film. I do realize that they do it for monetary reasons. But they need to focus on presenting all aspects of the film while promoting it, not just item numbers. Unless that is done, a popular actress doing an item number in the film will most likely always steal limelight away from the lead actress. So blaming the item number performing actress will not achieve anything. The producers or whoever does the marketing of the film is to be blamed here.
