Episode 270 Discussion: 13th May 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Episode 270 Discussion - EOD Summary

Madhu's turn to cut wrist using knife, shows some home truths to RK. RK ki bolti bandh. Madhu decides to leave RK mansion

Events Of The Episode

1. Episode begins where RK says everything will be alright now and further asks if Madhu has forgiven him. He then suggests that they go out for a drive. Madhu explodes how many times will she have to give love tests. She asks him whether staying there against her mother's wishes or her act of terrace jumping are not proof enough for him that she loves only him. She says only 1 way to gain RK's trust. She walks over to the table and picks up a knife. She holds it near her wrist and says after she dies, he will believe that she returned only for him. RK is scared and manages to throw the knife away. He further scolds her how many times should he remind her not to put her own life in danger. She replies how many more times will she have to give test proving her love for him. Even now he is doubting her act of wrist cutting. She just loses it and screams at him why he keeps doubting her, whether she needs to keep proving her love every 5 minutes.

2. RK replies that it was not an ordinary incident. That man came to the party and claimed that Madhu had invited him. What could he do. Madhu retorts he should have done what a husband does on her wife - i.e. trusts her. The wife who left the world just for her husband. RK says it was not that easy to show trust. All circumstantial evidence was against her. He asks her what would she have done. Madhu is shocked to hear this. She is about to reply when RK realizes what he is saying and he apologizes for this mistake. He says Madhu can never betray him. He keeps her hand on his heart and says from his heart he says that he trusts her. He further says she has forgiven his grave mistakes so far so why can't she forget this tiny little thing and move ahead? He tells her that she cannot leave him and even if she tries, he will drag her back. Even if she does not love him or does not forgive him it does not matter to him but she can't go anywhere because she is only his.

3. Madhu counters what does this mean. Is this madness, junoon, zid, what is it? She tell him, she is not his signature that belongs to him. She is a person in her own right.She again questions what is this. She exclaims that this is love, of such extreme obsession that he has for her and laments that this is something that he will never own, never acknowledge. She say his eyes are also claiming her to be his private property. She requests him not to degrade her in her own eyes and to please leave her alone. She ends up screaming and RK stunned, in shocked silence leaves. She breaks down after he leaves and says RK has made a mistake in understanding her this time and she is slowly turning into RK.

4. Sikki is requesting Dipali to apologize to Madhu and Dipali point blank refuses to do so. Sikki asks Radhaji to forgive them and allow them to stay back. RK insists that they leave. Madhu however interrupts and tells them she does not want them to leave. RK protests saying that they will cause her further harm if allowed to stay back. However Madhu tells him that wont happen because she herself is leaving that house. RK is shocked. Madhu says, she is very tired trying to love RK, seeing her heart getting crushed under his feet. She says she does not blame either Dipali or Sikki. Their relationship could not weather the storm of distrust, it had weak foundation. Radhaji urges her to stay back and help strengthen the foundation.Madhu however denies saying that she is no saint neither does she want to be trying to mend the relashioships lifelong. In spite of giving trial by fire when she expected trust, love she received none. RK again reiterates that she is his and can't go anywhere. He reminds her that she had earlier fixed everything so why can't now ?

5. She says yes she tried to help him overcome his fears but in return he brought her down. In spite of getting betrayed from RK, she once again came back to his life, put trust in him but the frustrating thing is he still does not believe her. She vehemently says she does not deserve such treatment. Then she tries to leave but RK tells her she cannot leave him. Madhu says yes she cannot leave him unless he himself kicks her out of the house and when he feels like it she needs to come back otherwise he will either cut his hand or exert force on her to bring her back to his house. RK cannot take these bitter truths anymore and implores her what he needs to do so that Madhu does not go, his Madhu comes back to him. Madhu tells him that she is not a trophy that he can buy from the market. She refuses to be an item for purchase.

Episode ends.

RK - Tum sirf meri ho, tum sirf meri ho, tum sirf meri ho

Madhu - main kya karoon jo tumhe vishwas ho jaye, tum kyun nahi vishwas karte and one more dialogue which i don't remember 🥱 she must have said it 10 times today

I didn't get the head or tail of the bedroom scene... what was Madhu trying to say? of course she was lying all the time...but still...what was the point? something about private property , ishq junoon pyar 😕 whatever ! i understood RK's dialogue better...when he explained her that the situation and proofs went against Madhu so he reacted that way...very much logical...and then again he thought he's justifying himself and he was wrong so he said to Madhu "forget it, tum sirf meri ho" 🤣 another one which i liked was him telling her that you may not love me, not trust me, but you cannot leave me... makes a bit of sense from his POV..n she told us that this time again RK is wrong, she's turning into RK, means she is deceiving him and he cannot see..

Sikky Dips scene was hilarious..😆 Sikky's dialogues and Dips's frustration..both acted well..

the staircase scene was much better 👏 instead of the usual vishwas and whatever repeated dialogues, here were some nice hard hitting truths for RK ,woh bhi in front of the family 👏 whoever said that RK won't allow her to leave RK mansion and will never leave her alone can take rest..didn't Madhu leave after making him realize his mistake?? why do i feel that a little bit of more lecture on this wud have brought him back to senses? for the first time in so many months , I see some credibility in this character...although he is getting fooled but Madhu showed him the mirror today...but he is getting affected means that he's somewhat realizing what went wrong and what needs to be fixed..

each and every dialogue from Madhu was a gem ⭐️ right from not holding Dips and Sikky responsible but the lack of trust b/w them..Radha asking Madhu to rebuild to trust but her refusal that she tried and she has had enuf , she never deserved this in return..the best one was Madhu telling him that SHE shouldn't be trusting him , not the other way round 👏 she gave him another chance but she cannot let him crush her heart everytime 👏 she's not a trophy and she refuses to be sold this time 👏

Precap , Madhu wants this ? 🥱 ditch him on the wedding altar? asking RK to confess it to the world that he loves her ? this time stakes are quite high..n it's turning very interesting 😎

What happened today???

Did Madhu drop her revenge plan overnight? Or is this the next installment of her revenge game?

Option 1 - Seems like she couldn't bear to turn into another RK and decided to do what she should have done earlier - walk out with dignity. After telling RK a few home truths that is. But if that is the case, why would CVs make her play the party game with Sultan as accomplice? Something for RK to find out later and create another problem in their relationship?

Option 2 - She is playing on RK's guilt. This walk-out is to force RK to confess his love. Making the iron hot so that she could strike at the right time?

I don't watch other serials because I find them too predictable. And here I am addicted to a serial that is too unpredictable. Can't decide which is worse 😕

good episode but still Mb behaviour is confusing for me, she cleared that their is no trust so she dont want this relationship but what did she told to bhai in saturday epi she dont wnat this relationship at any cost now as nothing is left in it and want revenge from RK, then Y this drama of trust now im still waiting for revenge I dont think any rishbala marriage is happening at this point sat epi was clear hint for Mb to acceptRK proposal and some big twist is waiting for us .

Although what she said is absolutely bang on , I think this is your option 2. Forcing him to confess, I don't think she will give up so easily

This time rk will trust her even if he gets evidence of her meeting sultan, and mAdhu break him by not turning up at mAndap may be due to some issue

Awesome performance by DD today and fab lines, applaud the writers RS/GH. Madhu asked all the right questions and put RK in a spot. But given what we know from the spoilers, Madhu is still taking revenge and is arm twisting RK into that proposal.

Today's episode would have been a treat to watch had not the shadow of revenge cast a pall. I agree with Madhu's questions but given her intentions they sounded hypocritical. She is doing exactly what RK did with her and still lamenting her changing into RK. Well, you can't have it both ways.

Madhu stopped RK from throwing out Dipali and Sikky and this confounded Dipali. She cannot understand what is Madhu up to. As to RK, Madhu's question kya hai yeh RK - pagalpan, junoon, deewangi, zidd ya pyaar puts him on the spot.

Madhu intends to leave RK, though he is asking to be forgiven and asks what he should do to make her stay with him. And Madhu's answer stumps him. The steely determination in Madhu's eyes leave no doubt that she will achieve whatever she sets out to do. Will she take Sultan's help? Time will tell. All in all we have a week of 'revenge 2' to view and bear.

So Madhu is implementing her plan. She is sad about how she is becoming RK, but nevertheless is proceeding full speed ahead.

Was glad that plan or no plan, she said a lot of things to RK that did need to be said - about trust, and about him identifying his feelings etc.

She gives Sikky and a very very confused Dips a reprieve. Then says some more things to RK that indicate that the ball in now in RK's court, and makes a grand exit.

Great dialogues from Sikky today.

liked the episode!

i saw the old madhu...

it was all truth...that's madhu!

honesty was missing till now which was making me dislike madhu...

i just mentioned in yest EDT that RK will show her the mirror when she sees glimpes of herself in him...n there it is! she is already guilty of ditching him..

whatever she said to rk was bang on! n very cleaverly thought of by her..

she's got the trick now...that is, if u want something done out of him then challenge him..

finally she got it!!!

rk may or may not trust her still but, he will not have any option left but, to confess...coz if he doesnt he himself looses out to her...very important for him to get her back n to complete the challenge..

dont kill me for this one...

i loved sikki also today... no doubt he stays in rk mansion still...this fellow surely knows "aeda banke peda khaana"

he is smarter than deepali is what i realised today!

precap: had she thrown this challenge during RK's wrist cutting...the result wud have been same n faster!

I found this madu in complete contrast to the one who shared her plans with Bhai?

There was not much faking there, her tears and feelings were bursting out and as far as her dialogues were all truthful and meaningful.

There madhu if something could affect him it's ur truth and rightful questions than ur unnecessary showering of fake love. For revenge or not she wants that confession from him

Now the million dollar question will they repeat the same "abandon after the four pheras " or the complete 7phere wedding????

Will madhu be able to resist Rk true love, the very thing she longed so much, after all today we saw that the real madhu is not gone totally.

How much will sultan interfere???

I liked it today. This is the madhu I like, yes she left rk with no choice but to let her leave

"Don't I have a right to leave u,till u throw me away with ur own hands" Dd was awesome and so were her bang on dialogues
