Geet nodded. She looked at Maan oh how badly she wanted it to be the truth. She took a deep breath and decided to tell Maan what happened what happened after he left and why she changed her name. Maan was about to leave the cabin, when Geet's voice stopped him.
''Maan''
Maan turned around.
''Yes''
''Maan don't you wonder what happened after you left and why I changed
Before Geet could continue Maan interupted her.
''No I don't care and Misty I never wanna talk about it either the only thing I want to discuss with you is work''
''But Maan please just listen once''
''I said I only want to discuss work with you is that clear''

''I have moved on with my life and there is no place for discussing events that happened in the past, as they don't interest me anymore'
A heartbroken Geet nodded.Maan left the cabin and went to his place only to find the door unlocked he walked inside when he saw dadi sitting with a grumpy face on the sofa. A smile crept on Maan's lips he walked over to her.
''Dadi your back''
''Haan haan I can see that too, that I am back''
Maan shook his head.
''Why the foul mood dadi''
''Then what else should I do sit here with a smile''
''Well that ain't a bad idea''

At night Maan was thinking about what dadi had said. He had told dadi that he was over Geet and he liked to believe that but when he saw her today he realised he still felt something and the only way to get over that dahm feeling was by getting married he reasoned with himself this way Dadi would also stop nagging his head off.
A week latter the girl named Sameera came to meet Maan. Maan had said yes and in a small ceremony they got engaged.
The next day Maan was sitting in his cabin working with Geet when there was a knock on his door.
''In''
Maan said with out looking at the door. Sameera walked inside with a smile playing on her lips.
''Hi Maan''
Maan looked up to find Sam standing in a short dress.
He wasn't all to found of it. Maybe he should tell her what he thought about her dress. Geet looked at her. Who is she, she thought.
''Maan''
''Huh I mean hi Sam''
Sameera walked over to him.
''I hope I haven't disturbed you''
''No not at all''
Sameera smiled she looked at Geet and fowarded her hand.
''Hi Sameera Malothra, Maan's fiance''
Geet felt to ground slip under her feet. She put on a fake smile.
''Misty, nice to meet you Sameera''
Then she looked at Maan and forwarded her hand.
''Congratz Maan''
The pain in Geet's eyes was evident, even though she was trying to hide it. It somewhere panged Maan to see the pain in her eyes but he chose to ignore it.
''Thanks Misty''
When he took Geet hand in his both felt a current passing through there bodies. Maan quickly let go of her hand. He looked at Sameera.
''What brings you here Sam''
''Maan I was thining maybe we can go out for lunch''
''Sure''
Maan and Sameera left, leaving Geet alone. When the door closed behind her Geet sinked into her chair and tears made there way out of her eyes. But still a smile playing on her lips. She moved on that hurted but he was happy and that's what matters she told herself. She cried her heart out to calm her senses.
At the other side Maan and Sam sat down to have lunch.
''Maan we are even engaged but still we have never really talked. I was thinking maybe we should hang out more before we get married''
Maan just nodded, he was in a trance thinking about Geet's eyes.
''Maan''
''Sorry you where saying''
''Maan is there any tension''
''No Sam I was just thinking about the new project. But don't worry there is nothing to worry about''

Sam smiled and put her hand on hers. Maan hated it but he knew withdrawing his hand would be wrong. He needed to act normal and concetrate on Sam and try to love her. After a halve hour which seemed like eternity to Maan he returned to his cabin only to find Geet still working.Maan noticed she was looking a bit weak. So maan couldn't help himself and asked her whether she had lunch, if only he knew the reason she was looking like that was because of the piece of news she got about his engagement.
''Misty did you have lunch''
''Yes''
Geet lied she wasn't in the mood to eat, she would be okay after a while but right now she only wanted to work.
''Hmmm''
They worked for a while in complete silence. After a tyring day Geet went to the mall to get some ben and jerry icecream to get over her heartbreak. That does wonders she had heard. So why not try it. She decided she will today sulk and eat icecream and fom tomorrow onwards she would try to forget Maan forever.
