Says Anuj Saxena about his former on screen wife Juhi Parmar

When you see someone 24/7 and are having an onscreen romance, how much time does it take for it to be transformed into an off screen romance? Not too long. Getting attracted to your co-star is one of the many professional hazards an actor faces. Quite like in the case of Anuj Saxena and Juhi Parmar.
A few years ago actors Juhi Parmar and Anuj Saxena had starred together in Kumkum. The latter quit the show after twenty five episodes, but the chemistry he shared with Juhi remained in place. On the personal front, it was alleged at that time that Juhi was besotted by the actor. But her feelings had to be supressed as Anuj had gone ahead to tie the knot with Delhi-based Ishmit Dhadial.
Link ups, have a strange way of cropping up again. Recently, rumours about Anuj's comeback in Kumkum after a gap of four years, started gaining momentum. Some also said that it was a designed comeback to capitalise on the alleged Anuj-Juhi relationship. Others believed that popularising this romance would only boost viewership.
When questioned about her growing proximity to her co star, Juhi is quick to respond, "I'm not denying my fondness for Anuj. If Anuj is coming back to Kumkum it will be for its betterment. I'm not playing any role in this story. I am not the reason for his return."
But not before she confides that Anuj is a good person and amazing company. In the same breath she rebuffs rumours about her love affair with him, saying that it is nothing but a figment of people's imagination.
Romancing Kumkum?
But, the man in question, Anuj has a different story to tell.
"Juhi and I have been extremely close since my Kumkum days. Today our friendship is special. She is a sweet, understanding and mature person and I have always wanted the best for her and I wish her all the happiness and success."
The fact is that Anuj has a history of being a lady's man. His past link ups with costars include Narayani Shastri and Shweta Kawatra. Commenting on his popularity quotient with the women, he adds, "Definitely it works for my ego." On a serious note he elaborates, "It's a great feeling that I'm being wanted and appreciated by a lot women. Of course, the feeling is mutual. I do love their company, which man wouldn't?"
Ask for his comeback on Star Plus' afternoon show Kumkum, he says, "Talks about my return have been on for nearly a year. But personally, it is difficult to bring me back since I have been shown to enter in Jatin Wadhwa's dead body. I will consider the offer if they come up with a really 'creative idea' on how to re-intoduce the character again. You see, this is television and anything is possible here." He rubbishes rumours about the comeback on the grounds of his closeness to Juhi.
