"Bas buhot ho gaya!Mujhe aap sab se kuch kehna hai!" she said out loud

Each & every human soul including Maan & Daarji were looking blankly at her wondering what had come on her suddenly!

"What has happened to this chui-mui chick?" wondered Annie.

After having gained all the attention, Geet looked straight at Maan,

"I love you Maan & you love me too." Geet then turned to face her family, "Daarji, Mamma, Papa, if you are thinking of searching the perfect life-partner for me, then your search has to begin & end with Maan, only & only Maan because Maan is My Perfect! Suitor."

The words echoed out loud & with passionate firmness in the hall...

Geet was dragged to the conclusion that even horror films, especially the time before the dreaded ghost is all set to tap the shoulder of the most unsuspecting hero or heroine from behind, lack the spooky silence which she had created with her bold statement. She felt as if she was the only one who was mentally & physically fit to be declared alive around the table. Also Geet felt like she was the only human soul who had the greatest boon of blinking her eye-lids.

To be more precise, Geet regretted---actually deeply regretted her decision. She strongly felt she should opt to become an eye & ear surgeon so as to fix back the pairs of eyeballs & ears which were on the verge of popping out after hearing her. To make long story short, Geet discovered that she, as a human being, could not only take shocks but could also reveal things shockingly.

All stunned faces gaped at Geet with mouths opened in perfect oval since she was not a well-known personality in the department of boldness. Daarji looked like a blank paper hearing his grand-daughter.

"DID MY CHUI-MUI MISHTY JUST PROPOSE ME MARRIAGE????!!!!"

Maan's eyebrows shifted to his forehead in shock & surprise. He wanted to pinch himself hard but discovered himself to be under paralysis attack. His system found it hard to digest the confidence with which she had indirectly proposed him marriage & that to...that to IN FRONT OF EVERYONE!!!!.

His cheeks began to turn crimson when he saw all eyes set on him including Geet's ardent ones. For the first time ever in his life, Maan Singh Khurana was feeling hell nervous & shy!

"Woh...main...main...actually...I...woh'woh...actually'E-Excuse me!"

He left the hall hurriedly with a tomato red face!!!!!!!!!! Except Daarji, everyone smiled.

Geet grew wide-eyed.

"Babaji, he broke my record of blushing!!!!!Not fair!!!!" she whined inwardly.

Next, Daarji walked out of the hall.

"From our side, we have wholly accepted Geet & Maan's relationship." said a smiling Dadima to Rano & Mohinder.

Vikrant & Niharika nodded in approval.

"Even though we knew something was cooking between them, we were not sure as they never really told us openly about their love for each other!" quipped Niharika.

To be precise, even Rano & Mohinder were doing bhangra in their mind. They have always liked Maan specially after realizing how he cared & concerned about Geet's happiness & also his understanding towards her which led them to consider Maan as a prospective groom for their daughter.

"Waise toh hum dono ki taraf se bhi haan hai par Geet ke Daarji thode se naraaz hai but we are sure woh jaldi hi maan jaayange!" said Mohinder.

Terrace

Geet was pacing to & fro blabbering to herself.

"Babaji, I saw Maan walking in the Gents Washroom & he has still not come out...What is he doing over there for so long???????...Is he counting how many muscles are required to blush perfectly???"

Just then Annie came there.

"What's up?" she asked teasingly.

"Anwesha I---I mean Annie...I-I am so sorry!"she added hurriedly.

Annie smiled quirkily.

"You know what! I have thought a lot & I think I can allow you to call me Anwesha because I am blown away your confession." Annie paused, "Anyways, are you done with your packing? We are leaving for Singapore tomorrow."

"Yeah! Almost." she replied, "Uh...Thanks Anwesha..."

For the first time ever, the two girls actually smiled at each other!

Geet's heart skipped a beat when they saw Maan entering the terrace. Annie gave a cheesy smile to her Bhai.

"Dadima told the last time you blushed at the age of five seeing yourself dressed up as a Dracula in the mirror for a fancy dress competition." She said teasingly.

Maan glared at her.

"And you know last you had blushed at the age of six when you had brought a pet cat in the house thinking that it was cute."

"How can I forget, you had climbed up the cupboard & was shivering in fear seeing the cat running around." she replied teasingly.

Geet laughed out loud hearing that but controlled herself when Maan looked at her sternly! Annie left.

Then Geet saw Maan advancing towards her. She moved backwards as her eyes locked with his dark & intriguing ones...She cursed the bare wall feeling it against her back. He placed his hands on either side of her head trapping her fully. His passionate breaths warmed her face making her shriek...She stared at him dreamily...

"You look very cute when you blush!" she said in a dazed manner.

Maan's face puffed in anger! He didn't like that adjective to be used for him. He looked away from her & Geet knew what she was supposed to do.

She shyly kissed his cheek & he melted with the very feel of her lips & was hopelessly lost in her!

"Mishty, I promise after you return from Singapore Daarji will himself give your hand in mine."

The way he said that made her blush profusely. Her eyes immediately lowered her eyelashes.

"So do proper manicure okay?" he added mischievously.

Geet frowned.

"Babaji, aapne dekha na yeh kaise hain!!!! He is only interested in my hand!!!!" she cribbed under her breath.

He smirked hearing that

"Mishty, I am interested in every body part of yours that connect me to your soul." his voice was dense.

They shared an eyelock...& then hugged.

"Kuch jyada hi romantic ho gaya na?"

"Koi baat nahi." she assured him!!

He kissed her forehead & she deepened the hug!

Next Day

(Mumbai International Airport)

Geet was happy that even Daarji had come to see her off with her parents & sister, even though she knew he was not at all pleased with whatever she said the previous night.

Even the Khuranas had arrived. Geet was shocked to see Annie with four big bags! Niharika sighed knowing that her bags contained new dresses, shoes & accessories. All result of Maan's pampering!

"We are going for 10 days not to permanently settle in Singapore!" Geet exclaimed!

"So? I change dresses thrice a day bot like you who wears only one dress in a day!" she snorted.

Yeah! Some things never change!

Maan & Geet didn't get to interact privately. They talked isharo isharo mein!

Soon it was time to leave. Maan saw Mishty going. His hands itched to hold her back & not let her go anywhere without him but he somehow controlled himself. Even Geet prayed to Babaji that the ten days go super fast like wind & that Daarji agrees to their relationship. She turned her head behind to catch a glimpse of Maan to find him already staring at her...She smiled shyly...

Soon Mishty was out of sight. Before leaving, Maan noticed a ear-ring on the floor. He bent down & picked it up & recognized it to be Geet's.

He clutched the ear-ring passionately...
