Aarti's Real Fear

I wish to convey my appreciation for the staircase scene...In one word, Wow!!!

Aarti's panic was so palpable there. Her fears were confirmed. The water for which she came lay forgotten. One could make out how real her terror of losing Yash was...She trusts Yash, she knows he loves her, she knows he will never betray her, yet she fears. One could make out how Prashant had damaged her psyche on that front when he left her for another woman. Prashant too had loved her, had fathered her child, had promised her the world, and made her trust him implicitly...and then he had left her. Somewhere Aarti blamed herself...Her low self-esteem propelled her to believe that her men leave her. In the current situation, the other woman is right there in the house...a few steps below. This time that other woman is not an unknown face. Aarti's fears rush back in...and she sits in the middle of the staircase, unable to cover the last steps to her man...However, she soon realizes that this time it is different...This time her man comes down to her and consoles her. She says..."I can't lose you too"...He thinks she fears something will happen to harm him physically so soothes her..."I am fine. Nothing will happen to me." He takes her with him...he wouldn't leave her midway. How can she tell him that it's not his physical being she fears? What's scared her is the fear of history repeating itself...!!!!

I never realized that Aarti's pain of Prashant leaving her for another woman, will resurface. But this time in the form of Ishita who is right there in front of her. And this time the Other Woman is very much obsessed with her husband, her Yashji whom she trusts implicitly, way more than she ever trusted Prashant.

But still Ishita was able to stir up those fears in her. 😡

But this time ( though unknown the real reason of Aarti's fear), her Yashji comes and reassures her that nothing will happen to him, thus indirectly saying that he'll be always be there for her and with her, through every ordeal. No matter what 👏

Very well said. Ishita did stir those fears in her. Even when Yash was taking her upstairs, she looked back...so real her fear was. Even though Yash was with her, holding her...yet she was fearful.
