Till the last edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), we saw only Bollywood celebrities at the cricket matches. But things changed this time. Popular TV faces - Sandhya from 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' and Pankhuri from 'Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara' - have made their presence felt on the field.

They have been seen felicitating the cricketerswith the Star Plus Nayi Soch Award after every match. Sandhya (Deepika Singh) says, "It has been a great experience to not only give away awards, but also to know how much people love and admire our shows. The love and affection we have got across venues has been overwhelming."

Pankhuri (Disha Parmar), who has been to over four matches, says, "People have approached us for photos and even invited us home to meet their parents." Kumud (Jennifer Winget) from Saraswatichandra adds, "What was amazing was that people didn't mind waiting patiently for almost half an hour to take a snap with me while the match was on."

STAR Plus bahus present Nayi Soch Award to IPL players

The Indian Premier League is on in full swing. The craze, enthusiasm and the rising excitement is just breath taking.

This year our STAR Plus bahus had the opportunity of becoming a part of the IPL too! They have been giving the STAR Plus Nayi SochAward to innovative cricketers. Isn't that nice?

Gautam Gambhir, Manan Vohra and Aaron Finch are among the many cricketers who have been presented the Nayi Soch Award by Sandhya, Pankhuriand Kumud respectively. All three of them were ecstatic by this event.

These adorable bahus say that giving away the Nayi Soch Award was one of the best experiences and that they would hold it dear to their heart for the rest of their lives. They were speechless at the praise and applause they received from the fans present in the stadium.

So all in all, it was good to see our darling bahus become a part of the IPL event. Who were you most excited to see?
