Thanks a ton for this interview, Zee. It was wonderful.
I had expected to shed a few emotional tears, but the moment Kratika started speaking, I began to smile! That's the beautiful thing about her spirit. Such positivity! And my admiration continues to grow.
I love what she said about how the entire team - producers, creatives, writers, directors, cameramen, actors, etc. - contributed to creating the chemistry between the characters of Yash and Aarti. It is so true. If there is no foundation for the actors to work off of and enhance with their acting abilities and comfort, then the comfort level between two actors can only take things so far. The magic comes from how everything fits together as a whole.
I do hope Gurmeet and Kratika find projects that satisfy them creatively, since PV has set the quality standard very high for actors as talented and dedicated as they are. I would love to see them on-screen together again, although I know the chances of that happening are very, very low. Still, I wish them all the best for the future - bless them and their friendship!
And the comments about the criticism! Oh, how I love Kratika! Her honesty and humility...her thanking those people for giving her a "challenge" that she passed with flying colors within the early days of the show itself...I love how she is thankful to those who tried to push her down in addition to being thankful for all the love that her true fans have for her!
Positive soul, undying spirit, and an exceptionally versatile artist!
That is Kratika Sengar for you.
