"Babaji...ab main kya karu???Mujhe kuch bhi samajh nahi aa raha hai...I am feeling as if...as if the emotions of nervousness & excitement are doing belly dance inside me...!! Babaji, if I keep my fingers tightly crossed like before, will my ad with Annie win the ad film festival...???"

Geet mumbled to herself. Just then Maan walked in & saw her pacing to & fro blabbering nervously to herself. She looked flustered & hyper. Then he saw her breathe in & breathe out doing Babaji chants! Maan was dazed at her funny antics.

"Now I know why you love visiting museums, antique piece jo ho!"

The mischievous taunt fell & she saw Maan leaning against the wall, smirking!

Geet frowned.

"Babaji, main inka kya karu??!...Instead of manofying me for the prank he played that day, he is busy finishing his quota of teasing me!!!!!!!"

She cribbed under her breath & Maan smirked heavily hearing her!

He walked towards her & took her hand in his & her heart skipped beats generously. Her cheeks turned crimson the manner in which his thumb caressed her fingers...

"Mishty, I know you are angry with me." his tone was grave & husky. She blushed & he continued, "But that doesn't mean I stop playing pranks on you, hai na?"

Maan ended roguishly. She snapped her hand away & pouted angrily!

"Babaji, I have left all hopes that he will ever mend his ways!!!!" she muttered angrily under her breath.

He smirked!

"Babaji will go on a strike if you continue complaining so much about me!"

His mischievous remark made her frown hard.

"Aap to rehne hi dijiye!!!!!!!!!!" she snapped angrily.

"Aww...Next time I will bring a thermometer to see the temperature of your red hot nose!" he winked mischievously!

New Geet was hell annoyed. She was just going to pounce on him when Annie entered.

"If both of you are done with your lovey-dovey moments, can we get ready for the Grand Finale event of the film festival!"

Maan smirked & Geet looked away! Yeah! They were romancing a beauty parlour! Just then Annie's phone ran & she had to go out. That's when the beautician walked in. And as expected, she was dazed & hyperventilating seeing the handsome & dashing MSK in her parlour.

Geet didn't like the way she was staring incessantly at Maan!

"Sir, I would love to give you a body massage." she said seductively!

Maan smirked seeing Geet frowning murderously at the beautician. Before he could reply, Mishty spoke

"But this parlour is only for girls right?" she gritted her teeth.

"So what? Anything for Maan Khurana.." she replied ignoring Geet & drooling over Maan.

"That's so sweet of you!" he replied & saw Geet brimming with jealously wala anger through the corner of his eye.

He was startled when Geet possessively clutched his wrist & dragged him out!

"Why did you reply back to that...that daayan???!!" she asked, whining!

Maan pinned her to the wall & his warm breaths fanned her face.

"You were jealous kya?"

He asked huskily & began kissing her forehead...her temple... her eyes... her nose... her blush cheeks... her chin...

"W-Woh...main...main...woh..." she was lost in him.

"Mishty, mujhe har jagah tum hi dikhayi deti ho & no one else..."

His lips touched hers when he uttered those words & she was blushing hard! Then he made his way to her ears to kiss her earlobe & whispered,

"Since I see nothing except you everywhere, I thought of consulting an eye specialist!"

The mischievous words feel on her ears. Geet frowned angrily & shoved him away!

"Mujhe aapse baat hi nahi karni!!! Chaddo!!!!"

She walked back in the parlour, grumbling! He smirked!

Maan sat in his car heading to Handa Bungalow. There he was warmly greeted by Mohinder & Rano. Daarji was not home that time.

"Kahiye Maan, kaise aana hua?" asked Rano.

Maan sat facing Geet's parents.

"There is an ad film festival going on these days in Mumbai...& Geet is a participant in it. Out of 100 best entries selected, Geet has entered the Final 5 & the Grand Finale is today."

He paused. Mohinder & Rano were shocked as well as surprised to hear this. Maan concluded that they were clueless about it.

"I understand you don't approve of showbiz much (and even I don't) & perhaps that's why Geet didn't share this with you as she didn't want to upset you in any way. As far as I know her, she wants to be the reason behind your happiness always & not sadness. And I am sure, if she brings the trophy home, all of you will be elated over her win but more than the trophy, I think Geet would be happier if all of you attend the Grand Finale for her."

Maan was earnest with his words. Mohinder & Rano didn't know how to respond. They very well knew their daughter was exactly the way Maan had said...

Co-incidendly, even Daarji over heard Maan's words...

"I only know this that under no circumstances will she let you & her parents down. She wants to be proud of herself before she considers herself to be worthy of being your pride. Her main aim is life is to always make sure that her dreams & your dreams for her are in same line."

Daarji recollected these words that Maan had said to him in the past.

Gosh!Gosh! Gosh!

Curently I & Annie are at the Grand Finale event & audiences are pouring in. The stage was ready & so were the other four finalists. The winner would be announced soon. But Annie is taunting me even in such a crucial & nervous moment! Babaji, this girl na!! I tell you!!!!

"Don't be in your la la land & make sure you walk properly on stage & not lose your balance in hope that you will land in Maan Bhai arms!!!" she remarked.

"Oh hello! I have still not won okay that you are sunaoing me lectures!"

"Excuse me?? You have to win! My reputation is at stake! Dare you lose!!!!" she almost threatened me!

"Yeah Yeah! As if I don't have any reputation even after racing ahead of you & being a St Mark topper!" I said superiorly. Ha Ha!

"Forget about the past & learn to move on!" she teased.

We both glared at each other!Grr!

Just as the seats in the audience were full, my heart was full of nervous beats. I spotted Maan & the entire Khurana family in the front row! I so wished even my parents came...

The host for the evening came on stage. Firstly all the five ads were played on the big screen & then the 2^nd runner-up was announced which was not my name. And then the grand winner was to be declared. And as expected, the host build up heavy suspense...I swear my heart beats were galloping faster than the horses would in the race course...! I just hate this nerve-killing suspense! I sensed that even Annie & was in the same boat as I! Babaji, mera hi naam announced ho!! I closed my eyes tightly...but when the host declared the name, it was not mine...

Man! I lost! I accepted the fact as quickly as I could & began to walk away & clapping for the deserving winner...But Annie held my hand. Is she gonna sue me in court for not winning?

"Wait Madam! 1^st runner-up is still to be announced of the remaining three."

"Yeah! And you think I will be the 1^st runner-up! Good joke!"

My expectation were down. And the host announced,

"And the 1^st runner-up is..." so-called suspense as usual! Yawn!!, "The 1st runner-up is Miss Geet Handa!!!!!!"

W-W-What did I just hear!!!!!!I could see all eyes on me & the trophy was waiting for me in the stage with the audience clapping out loud!!! I mean...Seriously???Am I the first runner-up????Really???

I saw Annie giving a jump in ecstasy! I dragged her on stage along with me! Even though our bond is unusual, I still love it!

While receiving the trophy, I saw Mamma-Papa, Rajji & Daarji too cheering for me from the first row of the audience!!!!!... Is it a dream because I did not tell them thinking they wouldn't like it so how did they come to know...And I got my answer when I saw Maan...I couldn't stop those happy wala tears which were making my eyes moist...My family was right there! It felt as if...as if I was the grand winner instead of runner-up!

"Geet puttar! We have seen the ad that you made & you have made us proud once again!" said an elated Daarji after the ceremony was over. Geet embraced him.

Everyone congratulated her but her eyes were time to time looking at Maan who had that quirky smile on his face. He was wholly responsible for doubling her joy like always...

Vikrant & Mohinder organized a grand party in a resort to celebrate the success of Geet & Annie.

Maan was mesmerized beyond sanity when Mishty descended the spiral staircase in a beautiful maroon anarkali suit. She looked ethereal but Maan forcefully had to look away from her sensing Daarji's suspicious eyes on him.

So Maan & Geet sneaked outside the party ballroom separately to spend some private moments.

On reaching the terrace, Geet hugged Maan tightly. She snuggled in his arms while her hand moved across his back to feel him...He held her possessively.

"Mera dil toh garden garden ho gaya with your Private Display of Affection!" he crooned huskily in her ears & she squirmed against his him.

They broke the hug but he held her close & stared at her. Her shy eyes turned downcast.

"Waise, tum aaj chaand se bhi jyada khoobsurat lag rahi ho!"

Geet blushed as he finally said something romantic! He continued, "Woh kya hai na, the moon told me you stole his/her beauty secret!"

Yeah! As usual, he ended with mischief. Geet frowned & shoved him away!

"Babaji, gayi bhains paani mein! Inka kuch nahi ho sakta! " she blabbered.

Maan smirked hearing her.

"Main jaa rahi hoon!!!!"

"No Mishty wait!"

He ardently clutched her wrist & pulled her back to him. His hand went around her waist & shook her closer. She once again blushed as he intensely gazed at her

"Jab tum gussa hoti ho toh aur bhi jyada achchi lagti ho."

"Are you...Are you complimenting me or teasing me?" she asked shyly.

"Ofcourse I am teasing you, Any doubt?"

His roguish voice made her pout angrily & she shoved him away from her!

"Babaji, do you want soft drinks along with your popcorn so that you can enjoy more???!!!"

"Mujhe aapse baat hi nahi karni, samjhe aap???!!!"

And she walked ahead ahead blabbering & he followed piche piche manaofying!

They didn't know when they reached the party entrance that way & came face to face with Daarji! Both were startled!

Daarji looked suspiciously at both Maan & Geet.

"Why do I have a gut feeling that both of you were together in the terrace???"

Geet was petrified seeing Maan's stern eyes!

But Maan could give a witty reply, Geet spoke blunder,

"N-N-Nahi Daarji...Aisi koi baat nahi hai...woh I was counting the moons & Maan was singing twinkle twinkle little stars!"

Geet bit her tongue hard. Maan sihed inwardly covered for her,

"She means to say that she was wondering why the moon is white & I was nostalgic about my nursery days!"

Maan thought that it was the most foolish answer he could ever give in his life!!

Daarji was even more suspicious now. But Maan & Geet were saved when a guest came up to speak to Daarji!

All said & done, it was time for dinner. All the guests had gone & it was only the Khuranas & the Hands who sat around the long dinner table for dinner.

The meal was proceeding normally when out of the blue Geet stood up firmly from her seat! All were startled seeing her suddenness.

"Bas buhot ho gaya!Mujhe aap sab se kuch kehna hai!!" she said out loud

Each & every human soul including Maan & Daarji were looking blankly at her wondering what had come on her suddenly!

"What has happened to this chui-mui chick?" wondered Annie.

After having gained all the attention, Geet looked straight at Maan,

"I love you Maan & you love me too."
