Episode 264 Discussion: 6th May 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Episode 264 Discussion - EOD Summary

BodyGuard Lovely Singh RK reporting for duty !!!! mesmerizing and beautiful Madhu dressed to kill !! RK's grand entrance in the party with Biwi on one side and Maa on the other.

Events Of The Episode

1. At home, Dipali asks Madhu about what kind of drama she has planned for the night, whether crying woman or tit for tat vamp. Madhu assures her that she is and would like to remain heroine and vamp role is for Dipali and be ready for dhamaka at night. Madhu goes in search of RK and sees him ready in the complete getup of Salman khan's bodyguard character of Lovely Singh. Madhu tells him she thought RK will be Mr. India for the party. RK assure her he can't be Mr. India as he cannot take the risk of disappearing during the party since he will be missed dearly during the party. RK further tells her the reason to be bodygaurd is so that he can be around Madhu for 24 hours without any reason.

2. RK asks her why is she giving party for Radhaji and her friends. Madhu replies the party is for RK so that she can tell the whole world how much she loves RK. RK interrupts saying correction loves ONLY HIM. He says he likes to hear it time and again and it give him the feeling that he has won her over and Sultan has lost. Madhu is quiet and serious after hearing this. RK hugs her and requests her not to invite her mother for the party as they both are uncomfortable around each other and will feel awkward. Madhu agrees.

3. Aryan wants to know what getup they all should wear. Kaka tells him that it is only elders party. Aryan insists that Sultan goes since it is his birthday. Sultan tells him that he will not go, that Aryan should just do his work. Aryan does not understand why Sultan can't go when Madhu meets them all the time and Sultan is happy when they meet Madhu. He asks Sultan "Tumhe meri Madhu pasand nahi hai"?

4. In RK mansion, RK is mesmerized by Madhu who is dressed to kill. He just can't take his eyes off of her. He wonders he does not have any special relationship with God or destiny to get Madhu. Madhu corrects him that he has infact snatched her, blackmailed her emotionally, harassed her till he won and her decision to not return lost. RK remarks that everything seems to have changed. She is coming across like RKish. He remarks to be like RK and to merge into RK are 2 different things. The way she talks, smiles everything is different. He almost blurts out that he loves her eyes but stops himself at the last moment. Awkwardness between them is saved by Bittuji's arrival who is dressed as Gabbar Singh

5. Next scene is at Kamal studio where guests have assembled. Bittuji dressed up as Gabbar Singh announces arrival of the hero but Sikki comes in Krish getup. Next the guests are treated to the vision of RK walking towards them with Madhu at one side and Radhaji at the other. Everyone starts mingling.
Episode ends.

A filler episode.

Madhu and Dipali trying to out-vamp each other .. oops .. Madhu is heroine and wants to remain that while Dipali is Vamp. But Madhu dear I doubt that will happen.. This revenge game will take RK down no doubt but it will also remove any moral high ground you had.

RK-Madhu conversation:- What is wrong with RK? Jab dekho "Sultan! Sultan!" karta hai. What happened to "Sadakchap"? It says a lot foe his insecurity that he has upgraded Sultan in his mind from "Sadakchap" to "Aashique Pistoli" to "Sultan". But he still ignores what Madhu is saying. She said he forced her, intimidated her, blackmailed her till she had no choice but to return, and he just smiles and says "Not bad, Madhubala"! Or maybe he is taking it in and storing it in his mind for perusal later.

Sultan, Aryan, Kaka:- My lips .. errr .. fingers are sealed.

Sikky as Krrish, Bittooji as Gabbar Singh. But the icing on the cake, infact the entire cake - RK!! Can he look better? Yes. Who is Radhaji dressed as? Madhu, according to the articles, is Deepika Padukone from Om Shanti Om. I don't remember Deepika Padukone having this hairstyle in that movie .

Precap:- The moment has come which all are waiting for .. presenting the real villain .. no wait .. hero .. SULTAN!!

the deepali madhu scene

the deepali madhu conversation was interesting...actually i like that deepali is quite straight on the face...the way madhu was talking to deepali today, i remembered old madhu really...the way she use to taunt her earlier...so i found it very nice

samshing! i didnt understand a thing when i saw it coz i was only seeing it..didnt hear anything...🤣

so after the replay...here is the review

rk: lovely singh reporting madam!

waise pati mujhe laga ki tum mr. india banoge

rk:nahi ban sakta madam nahi toh aaj ki party mein mujhe koi itna yaad karega ki hichkiyaan le lekar meri saans ruk jaaye!

madhu: kuch nahi ho sakta tumhaara

(till here everything actually seemed very rishbala )

rk : blah blah...ab main tumhaare paas rahoonga 24 hrs bina kisi bahaane ke...(hinting he cant leave her alone still)

madhu: tumhe mere aas paas rehne ke liye koi bahaane ki zarrorat nahi...

rk:main tumhe apne aap se bada karloon? biwi rk ishq mein dil de sakta hai, jaan de sakta, emaan de sakta hai par apne aap se badhkar samman nahi de sakta...

(witty ways of being honest)

madhu : tumhaare liye party rakhi hai..kyunki main duniya ko bata sakoon ki main tumse kitna pyaar karti hoon (somehow i felt she was saying the truth)

rk: correction! sirf mujhse...mujhe accha lagta hai yeh sunna...ki maine tumhe jeet hi liya aur vo sultan haar gaya..(there he goes...n madhu's expression changes...but y was she behaving so uncomfortable...there isnt anything like that then y was she hiding eyes n all of that i fail to understand!!!)

madhu: tum toh kabhi haar hi nahi sakte...(FAKE)

(they hug) i dont know wat to say...seemed like a casual hug...

rk:madhu ek favour chahiye tha...iss party mein apni maa ko mat bulaana...ajeeb saa lagega...

blah blah...meri izzat aur apna khoon bina baat jalaaegi...

(seemed like a trick from RK's side to show that he is being genuine and that he has believed that padmini has broken relations with her daughter...but i doubt ..i think he knows that all's well between mother-daughter)

sultan aryan scene

sultan in thot abt recieving the invite...thank god he has brains that he shudnt go...n then the bomb "ARYAN" what can i do about this kid...his character seems more like the villian!!!

but really its sick now!!

n cant sultan just shut him up saying ur mom's name was blah blah n she is no more...n madhu is not ur mom!

(n now all of a sudden sultan decides to go to the party!!?😡 does he not know that there is media n police there n that his name and photo will be printed in newspapers n that he has to stay away from loitering around like that??!! gosh i dont get it! this pea sized brain!)

"kaka ko krish bana denge!!!" oh god what was that!!!??😆😆

rk madhu scene

camera on madhu...i didnt like it...all OTT...but the 'earings' i like...

madhu rk eyelock...i found it genuine..

rk: (staring) itni khoobsurat lag rahi ho kamsekam ek umar toh intezaar karvaya hota...blah blah...tumhe kaise paa liya?

madhu : paya nahi cheena...blah blah..

rk : not bad madhubala...

(above three lines i was confused if its genuine or not! really!!)

blah blah...

madhu : bhuli nahi...aur tum ho na yaad dilaane ke liye

rk : sab kuch badla badla sa lag raha hai...tum rk si lag rahi ho...mujhme sama jaana aur mujh jaisa bann jana..yeh dono alag alag baatein hai..

(wow i luv rk ! chalo someone has brains, but actually i dont know if this behavior of hers is hurting him or is he angry or is he liking it? this i really want to know!!! someone throw me keys to his brains! this man is such a mystery...says everything n still nobody gets anything out of it!! honest ways of lying or shud i say witty ways of being honest!)

madhu: ishq mein ek ho jana ise hi kehte hain..

rk: nahi sab kuch badla badla sa lag raha hai...yeh muskuraahat, yeh aawaaz ka andaaz...yeh baatein, yeh din yeh raatein...aur yeh aankhein jinse mein pya..

(me thinking :pyaar karta hu,pyaar kar baitha, pyaar karta tha?)😲😳

party scene

bittuji..well i didnt like it one bit...seemed very forced n monkey-ish

then enter madhu-rk-radha...looked million bucks...👏😳

but i hate the glares!!😡 cant c rk's eyes and then just cant figure out whats cooking...

(all in all a gud episode in ages! the last gud one was the candle lighting i think)👏⭐️

precap: oops wrong entry...now we'll never know what madhu was actually going to do...😭

but one thing we and cv's both know is that RK is a secret weapon n even if he goes n murders someone, ppl will stand up n defend him...they know he can be painted black n still be brought out clean (thats y they r playing with us...our weakness their weapon)

i liked the episode and it didnt look so fake to me...they r playing around but today it didnt seem so fake...rather i shud say it didnt look forced n OTT 👏

Sultan - Madhu mujhe pasand hai

Aryan - Madhu meri hai

PAdmini - Madhu meri hai

Radha - Madhu meri bahu hai

Bittuji- Madhu sirf meri bhabhiji hai 🥱

Since when did Madoo become Aryan's Madoo? poor her, everybody is claiming a right on her without asking her wish.

one good thing about today's episode was that VD was looking dashing...n DVD looked smashing in the last scene together. 👏

therez a huge degree of fakeness in Rishbala scenes, but still, they are show stoppers..glad RK pointed it out today that this is not the old Madhu...everything is different between them...how can anyone not notice this new Madhu ? roz wohi bekar ki baatein..main pyar karti hoon, tum mere ho..😳...is RK getting impressed? and did she plan to invite Padmini? really? i liked it that RK expressed his heartfelt feelings towards his dear saasu ma 😆 meri izzat aur apna khoon dono jalayengi so keep her at bay...I also liked that he reminded her of Sultan...looks like terrace jump didn't work on him ..ha ha ha

RK brand of dialogues were impressive.."main pyar mein jaan de sakta hoon , apne se badkar samman nahi de sakta" 😆

RK watching Madhu getting ready ..this is the first time he's praising her, woh bhi itna ! i couldn't take my eyes off his eyes, he was looking so so good in each and every scene...👏 he never comes across as normal but then he's the only one who i find genuine in this show...at one point he's saying that he's invincible , in another he's saying that destiny never favored him 🥺 and here Madhu reminded him that she's not with him bec. of his destiny but he's got her back with force...by emotionally blackmailing, till the time she didn't change her decision ! liked his reaction there.."not bad Madhubala" 😆 kabhi kabhi aisa lagta hai he knows it all and he's pulling the strings while Madhu is thinking ke she's playing with him...

sanskari bahu aise dance karti hai saas ke saamne? and wear these kind of clothes ? 🥱Dips and item number? ye sab acha lagta hai? that day she was hiding her whiskey ! and Bhai made an entry in that dhuan?? but i liked it...bec. Madhu wanted to hide her friendship with Radha and here it is, in front of everyone , not just Radha...Sultan and RK creating a scene in public eye.lets wait n watch ..what's the outcome of this...

I hate to sound like a fangirl, actually no, today I don't so I will say it ... RK looked breathtakingly gorgeous today ☺️ 😳 Madhu, my dear, how are you able to resist him when he looks oh so adorable and stares deep into your eyes

Filler episode which once again shows that RK is on to Madhu but is sportingly playing along. Good thing is that he is being himself and not faking to match her. That sudden bitterness in Madhu's eyes when she speaks of how he forced her to accept him back in her life, could not have gone ununoticed by RK. But he kept smiling serenely. I refuse to believe that he was taken in by Madhu's acting.

Some good dialogues between RK and Madhu after a long time. I was getting bored of 'tum sirf meri ho' and 'tumne mujhe kaat ke rakh diya'.

RK's request to not call her mother was again something that can be understood in many different ways. CVs are taking us round in round in circles. I feel like this while reading Agatha Christie, trying to understand which clue is real and which one is a red-herring.

'Main nahin jaaoonga'...really Mr. Gangster? Mann mein to laddoo phoot rahe hain 😡

Surprises never cease, I actually liked today's episode. I watched with very very low expectations, so low that i was thinking of skipping the episode. Kya karoon, main hoon aadat se majboor 😆

I liked:

RK-Madhu's interaction:

The part when Madhu walks in on RK all dressed as Bodyguard (because she likes Salman Khan😊) seemed really genuine. She was amused and enjoyed his Sallu antics to impress her.
I liked that she corrected him when he said, 'tumhe paaya hai' and said, 'cheena hai' with harassment, emotional blackmail. I liked that she was honest. If he felt any anger or bitterness on her part, RK chose to ignore it.
However, RK noticed that she has changed a lot, and I liked it that he still has his brain cells working somewhere. Thank God for small mercies. 😆
I liked it that he was stunned with her beauty, and even stopped short to say 'he loved her eyes'. (I felt like shaking him and slapping him though...say it dammnit😡)
I liked the scene when RK walks in with Madhu and Radhaji. Real starry family. 😃

I did not like:

Dipsy and Madhu's conversation...why so many double entendres around heros, heroines, vamps, villains. Just to confuse us and make us tear our hair apart. So I for one am not even going to bother analysing Madhu's heroine statement.
RK' s haar aur jeet dialogue that Madhu purposely ignores. Ad infitum, ad nauseum, if Golden Heart was not in the picture I would have enjoyed this better, and I would have have more empathy for Madhu. Come to think of it, if Sultan was not around maybe RK wold have been able to enjoy Madhu's presence a bit more.
Sultan and his great 'dilemma'...to attend or not to attend, man me laddoo phoot rahe hai par kya hai na, Madhu may be cootchi cooing with her hubby which he cannot watch, right? 😡
Anyway, he resolves this moral dilemma by conveniently taking his 5 year old's prattle seriously. Which means he will attend. I mean, who tells a child, 'woh vapas jaa chuki hai'. What will the child understand? That she was separated and now she's gone back to her husband therefore we cannot ask for her??😡. Does anybody talk to their child in this manner?? What values are we talking about? As parents, we try to shield children from the unpleasant facts of life till they are at an age when they can understand. Oh I forgot, Sultan is trying to make his son emotionally and physically strong. At this point, Sultan needs more help. 😡😡

Will we ever know what Madhu had planned for the party now that Bhai makes his unscheduled entry?
Will Madhu ever slap him for jinxing her ' whatever' revenge plan 😕...someday, maybe...just maybe??? I am hoping she does...but I am a TRP statistic ...who cares.

The buildup to the party to beat all parties. Felt like the episode had a lot of things going on - or rather a lot of things were said, and left unsaid.

The clash of the vamps. Starting with - wait, who's the vamp? Madhu helpfully clarifies to Dipali that Madhu is the Heroine, and Dips is the Vamp. Dips with her Machiavellian plans is looking forward to the evening, even though she comes off worse off in her little exchange with Madhu, where Madhu throws a few zingers her way.

RK dresses up as Bodyguard for Madhu, since she is a Salman fan. That is sweet, and he did look beyond adorable.

I felt like I needed to watch the episode again and listen to the dialogues between the two of them again. Does RK still consider himself (and his ego) higher than her and his love for her? He also looked at Madhu closely and questioningly when he deliberately brought up Sultan's name. But unlikely that he was satisfied with the answer - because Madhu did a deliberate avoid. RK had a cryptic look on his face - he's definitely on to her, and while he may or may not know the specifics of what she is up to, he's playing along. On the other hand, Madhu has a plan, and she is determined to implement.

Its showtime! Madhu is dressed to kill. RK is completely overwhelmed and mesmerized by Madhu's beauty. But he knows that something has changed, something is wrong. And the almost love confession when he talks about her eyes. Oh come on RK, you can do it. Although he doesn't complete it, Madhu has heard it loud and clear.

Madhu cynically tells RK that he has willfully won her by force, emotional blackmail etc. and defeated her own resolve. Not a good sign RK, but hope you really heard what your wife was saying. RK asks Madhu not to invite Padmini to the event. Given the circumstances, sounded like a justifable request that a husband would make to his wife, but is there even more? Is he also expecting something to happen?

The party starts, have to say it did look like a proper party (no reprise of the cheap overturned umbrellas.) Our lead couple looked awesome.

The precap: Oh oh. The party pooper. Looks like there's a Sultan sighting...

Apart from gorgeous gorgeous lead pair.

What ever madhu told dips about interfering into others lives and all suits her best, she interferes into anybody's life with all might and force.

Liked the dialogues and some how madhu was coming a little open than before and back to hugging him normally and not being in zombie mode. Rk was sooo adorable while imitating salman. Though what ever were their real intentions, they looked super cute teasing each other. They were the couple who won iTA Jodi award

And that sadakchap, pointed gun at a guy couple of days back and bina sharam comes to his party and expects what????? Rk to welcome him and do "guest honors"!!!!!! Oh he has an excuse, his son, who is busy trying to get a new mommy these days.
