If someone noticed

I was watching HP-Cos movie, and this struck my mind:

When Harry is in Cos fighting with the Basilik, Dumbledore's phoenix Fawkes came from nowhere and dropped that Sorting Hat as well as helped harry by destroying basilik's eyes. But from where did it came from?

Did it crossed the same pipelines which harry & ron crossed and how come he directly came without ron even noticing it?

Pls Help if u know?

umm i read it somewhere... but dont remember where... phoenix sorta apparate just like the elfs...

but i guess having 4 people hanging on its tail it couldnt apparate thts why flies out

Yes, it happens when Arhur weasley is injured, Dumbledore turns to Fawkes and says "We will need a warning" and Fawkes goes and warns Molly Weasley.. so perhaps, that's how Fawkes turned up.... Fawkes R.I.P

you're all rite except for the fact that fawkes' warning was for confirming the fact that Umbridge would know when the students were out of bed, rather than for informing Molly. which is confirmed when McGonagall specifically asks for informing her (molly weasley) about the incident, to which dumbledore replies 'That will be a job for Fawkes when he has finished keeping a lookout for
anybody approaching,' said Dumbledore. 'But she may already know… that
excellent clock of hers…'

But I don't think that Fawkes is dead (ur R.I.P Fawkes comment)

He just left Hogwarts after Dummbledore's death. I hope he'll be back in book7 to help Harry!
