TV actor Rashami Desai is upset with recent reports that claim that she and her friends misbehaved with some fans during their recent trip in Goa. Rashami, who was taking some personal time out, was left feeling harassed by the end. The Uttran star says, "I was in Goa with my girl gang in a shack on the beach. This guy claimed to be a fan and began clicking pictures. I politely told him not to do so as we were in a holiday mood. He didn't listen and shot snaps from various angles every few minutes."

Though it was reported that he was a teenager, Rashami says, "He didn't look like a teenager. He was 22-24 years old easily. There were other couples there. But when he misbehaved, I lost it."

Reports claimed that she took his phone and threw it away while her friends showed him the middle finger. But Rashami defends herself. "He came close to me, and encroached upon my personal space. I had to put my foot down and took his phone away. But I didn't throw it. We didn't misbehave with him."

The man then began abusing Rashami and her friends. She says, "I have never come across such bad behaviour from anyone in my life." She adds that she had to hire bouncers to keep such people away as it was tough for her to chill on the holiday.

There is no qualm in saying that Rashami Desai today is a popular face in the industry. It has become a trend to malign the name of such popular faces which garners publicity and the public further showing absolute disrespect to the actors.
Recently when Rashami was in Goa with her girl- gang, few men 'fans' or rather 'children' misbehaved withher in the course of clicking her pictures without the formers permission. With all due respect asking them not to do so, the group of men continued their antics which further irked the lady. Rashami is in public eye due to her work and hence the frenzy from people & media. But some personal space and time must be respected.
It is a sheer pity that on how the turn of events took a switch pointing the fingers at no one but Rashami herself. Rashami loves all her fans and it is because of them where she is today. There is no way Rashami or her entourage would misbehave with them in any manner. But certain sense of privacy is a must and should be maintained.
The actress took to social blogging site to write her mind out "Having the need to clarify due to some hoaxnews, some young boys misbehavedwith me & my friends in goa.. Protecting ourselves from them was much needed! We are in public eye due to our work & hence the frenzy from people & media. But some personal space & time MUST be respected. I must tell you all that I love you all & it is because of you all is where I am today, I want to thankyou all for the support. "
