Die to live just one day?
A leaf landed on the window sill, Aided by the westerly winds
Mesmerizing beauty even in its despair, it glowed under the wet pearls
It tilted a little towards the rainbow, fluttering and flapping its robe
I looked outside, the arrogant colorful handsome rainbow!
The tree was far off, from where the leaf had come
Forced by the wind to leave its home, it flew and flew from dusk to dawn
I wondered if it hated the flight, the separation of the dear ones
I looked back at it, the water had evaporated but the leaf still shone..
It needed rest, it needed sympathy, not the flamboyant display of indecency
So I turned it away from the rainbow,
But it flipped again!
Lost, hurt by rain, almost dead
I wondered if it would like to be planted back from where it came
I took it in my palms to drop it on the back of the other wind
But it wouldn't leave'and kept flapping its wing
"What do you want, dear angel?
Why look at him who ruined your life?
Why do you keep flipping back, when he doesn't even care?
Why dig a grave here, when you can go back?"
"Did you in despair find love? So strong that you can't shake it off?
Knowing he isn't yours, do you still wish to be enthralled?
Are you ready to be hurt every time he rises ,
Just because something in you is so dumb to not listen and obey?"
Group of sparrows were flying past,
I called out to one..
Put the leaf on its back
And told it to pass the rainbow once'.

I can see you but can't feel you
I sense your presence but can't reach you!
You ask me to come, but how do I come?
Will you ditch me if again I trust and love?
You ask me to come, but how do I come?
You don't even believe that I love you?
You ask me to come, but how do I come?
You don't even say why you forced me to be with you?
Maybe the leaf's destiny and mine are intertwined
The pain inflicted doesn't bother as much
Am I better off in my grave near the loved ones?
Or dead in this sky, without a grave, but with you by my side'
Tossed here and there but you in my arms'
Can I die to live just one day?
