Embarrassing Moments: Epi May 2

After a heavenly engagement ceremony yesterday, we got a lightweight episode today. What struck me today were the embarrassing moments the various characters faced today.

Here are the embarrassing moments of the day:

# 1RAZIA: She gets the crown of the embarrassing moment of the day. Badi B, in her playful revenge managed to get a woman like Razia at her feet, begging for a wig to cover her stylish hair do. The whole scene where Haseena walks in, Razia's expressions, Badi B's playfulness and then fishing the wig off Razia's head were hilarious. These scenes, although fillers in the big scheme of things, are no doubt crazy and full of humor. Of course, Razia deserves a bigger punishment but hope this is just the beginning of unraveling of the queen of evils. Badi B has got the ball rolling; hope it will just be downhill for Razia henceforth.

#2 TANVEER: First a phone call from her Obstetrician, then the nausea from the smell of the fish and then the fainting. Phew! That was close Tanveer. Wish Dilshaad was there to witness this. I am sure an astute woman, who has been through two pregnancies herself could have smelt the signs of morning sickness. If it were not for Asad's pig headedness, Zoya might have enquired a bit more and at least gotten some clues that something was amiss. Asad is Asad- bull headed, stubborn, I-am-always-right attitude. For once, please give some credit to Zoya. I am so glad Zoya caught onto the lies regarding her fear of doctors. Hope Zoya stops believing in Tanveer's innocence. There have been enough clues. Maybe DB's comeback will get her grey cells working again.

#3 ASAD-ZOYA: At the dining table, Najma was adorable today. She really wanted her bhaijaan and bhabhi to be to sit together. Both Asad and Zoya were caught off guard and were a little embarrassed. Thank God for this embarrassing moment. At least, the two of them got to brush their fingers; if not a full-blown eye lock session. Najma, we love you. Please keep pushing them into more such embarrassing moments. They deserve it! And so do we!

#4 ZOYA: Loved Zoya's monologue today. She has been having quite a few of these lately. Looks like she is reconciling to the fact that her engagement with Asad is pre destined and she even acknowledged that she has no issues with this decision- in fact, she kind of likes it. As she daydreamed about her prince charming, he walked into her room- mind you without knocking- authoritatively to ask her to join them for dinner. In a daze, she couldn't tell whether Asad was really in her room or was she still dreaming? Asad was baffled by her confusion, but I think he is used to his quirky fiance by now.

Another embarrassing moment happened when they bickered about their engagement in the first scene. After all the banter, Zoya asked him innocently, "waise yeh ring mujhpar achchi lag rahi hai na?" It was an embarrassing moment for both but thankfully Asad gave her a cute reply, "jee haan."

We wouldn't mind seeing more embarrassing moments like these in the coming episodes. Maybe they might even start talking about babies inadvertently. All these moments will make sure our lovebirds start appreciating the relationship they have committed to.

For the evil women, hope these embarrassing moments is the beginning to an end of their evil shenanigans.

Ok I may be one of the few who actually enjoyed today's episode. it was a right mix of funny, intrigue and past behaviours.

Asad and Zoya- Ha! I loved the fact that Zoya teased Asad about his "I am firm in my decision" speech. The bakra deserved it! He so cutely suggested Zoe's original idea of a nakli nikhaa. Mr. IdeaChor Ahmed Khan tumhari Ms.Jhooti caught you there! 😆 That whole scene in Asad's bedroom was so natural. There was nothing awkward about the two of them spending time together and arguing about their supposed fake engagement. They both know it's not and that was confirmed when Zoya innocently asked him if the ring looked nice and he smiled and said "Jii". After that scene they both smirked at each other before schooling their faces back to their bickering look. Sab ke sab in that house are nautanki!

Tanveer- Wow! The cat had a close shave, didn't she? I almost wish Asad had let Zoya continue with her line of questioning because she was on the right track. She would have cracked Tanveer's truth I think. Asad claims Tanveer as his responsibility and asks Zoya to lay off. Yes he was a jerk there but wouldn't you do the same for your best friend? Asad doesn't know Tanveer like the audience does, why would he think the worst of her? I don't think Zoya minded either.

Zoya and brains- Finally, Zoya is realizing that something is off with Tanveer. How awesome was it when she caught her in that lie? Even Asad looked surprised that his TKD had lied.

Symbolism/Observation:

1. The build-up of Jammy and Tanu- I say we are heading to a scenario where we won't have to suffer the cat and her bloody meow meow anymore. She is getting way to desperate and her lies are gonna catch up to her.
2. Zoe's acknowledgement that divine forces brought her to Mr.Khan. Is this foreshadowing the fact that sometime in the future she will realize that her journey was NOT to find her father but it was to find her Mr. Khan?

awesome post di...razia was seriously the queen of embarrassing moments...i literally had a good laugh...and then lol@asad zoya bikering and out of nowhere zoya starts appreciating ring and asks him it looks nice on my fingers na...ROFLLL zoya ...and then najma's teasing aww shooo cute...i wish we can more of these...and tommy ka sach aane mein abhi waqt lagega shayad di ...i have no hopes still...and my mom is a general viewer and she also commented today saying lagta hai tommy and asad might get married...so maybe we can expect something along this to come up...though i dont want it...but my mom's always right about shows tracks...lol...and then tommy getting nauseased ...i feel asad should start crediting zoya now..enough yaar...:P

i still loved the light weight episode sangeetha...i loved all zoya's scene...for one moment when asad embrassed zoya infront of tanveer that his so-called friend is HIS RESPONSIBILITY... i felt b4 he slaps tanu ofcourse after knowing her truth, it would be better if first zoya slaps Mr. Know-it All...
