What do you like most about being Manno bhabhi?

She is not your typical mother/saas type of woman. Manno bhabhi is the aunt of the protagonist, Saloni. She is forced to stay at her brother-in-law's home as her husband has dumped her, but she harbours no ill will towards the family. Manno takes it upon herself to maintain cordial relations in the family. She also helps them financially in whatever way she can.

She appears to be extremely traditional.

She may be traditional in her dress, but she is an extremely modern woman. She is that kind of woman who balances tradition with modernity.

Do you identify with the character?

Yes, a lot. I may portray a distinct character on screen but I am traditional in several ways. I like homemade food, respect my elders and like to get up early. At the same time, I like to experiment with my dressing. I am comfortable at a pub, home, temple and just about anywhere!

Are there Manno bhabhis in real life?

Of course. There are so many of them. In fact, I am like her in many ways too.
