Oh Vaishali, by no means I am implying an overlook in that perspective. I stand convinced there. On subconscious level Saras implied that only. he DID go straight to her. Not looking at anyone; neither VC, nor Dukhbaa nor even The Idols his God. This aspect was brought over (to me, I'd missed it then) by your post and that's what I thanked you for. That's why I still say they may yet put some acknowledging dialogue on him ( showing, he knew her vigil, before or despite 'surprise'- like Kumud's later mention about his trick feeding).
Incidentally this also demonstrates a scope for a direct verbal scene now (once that surprise was showed) or some non verbal gesture- mental caress ( Prasad was one such moment) before the surprise. By a clamour for such scene, I am arguing or defending scope only. Support yaar, all viewers out there won't have benefit of our IF discussions. After all Gautam also said about TRPs and their supports (huge audience out there)...😊

I agree ..After today I think we all can hope for some direct confrontations that must include a heartfelt and sincere gratitude from Saras' side for both Kumud and Dukhba..

Yes, that he went straight to her was significant, and for the reason stated by you Vaishali, that's my perception too, but whether he knew of her sitting outside was left too vague yesterday, and hence open to interpretation.

When CVs leave too much unstated, we will fill the gaps our own way, and this did he, didn't he, is part of the excitement of any good literary work.

But I was actually glad to see today that he didn't know of her sitting outside, or at least that's what it looks like.

For me a Saras, so consumed with his own self, that he would consciously let Kumud sit outside his door, was not matching his character, so I am actually happy that it played out the way it did. This was more Saras like.

What is Saras' character? Is it perfect? No its far from that :) He HAS been consumed in his own grief way too much to make any effort to alleviate it..what did it take for him to know what his father feels about him.. a little attention from his side.. ? thats all ! why couldn't he do this earlier?why a third person had to intervene and sort out his problems? she felt his pain but she didnt stop at that.. she looked for a way to put an end to it..which Saras unfortunately didnt.. Today's episode taught him some very important lessons ..You cant blame others and self pity yourself all the time.. God also helps those who help themselves.. Saras is flawed ..and so is Kumud in her own way.. so I dont put it past him if he got too self engrossed in his own sorrows to take note of Kumud.. very humane at the end of the day..

hope they show it today, i am missing heart to heart saras kumud talks a lot ...frankly speaking i did not find much depth ...well he went to take aarti and it was in kumuds hand so whats a big deal ...he was tired from long night sleeplessness so was kumud ...at least a small talk or a display of acknowledment was needed ...i consider it a loophole from cv side...

I wouldn't call it a loophole.. they put a lot of thought behind every scene and dialogue in this show..they always have a reason to show a scene a certain way that may or may not click with the audience..like this didnt click for you but its not a loophole from their side.

Though he is certainly flawed and highly self absorbed, but not one who knows that Kumud is sitting outside, and still doesn't open the door. Maybe one who was too lost in his own misery to even realize that she was sitting outside!
