Today I was reminded of those words Saras had spoken looking at Kumud when she was walking towards him with the plate of food in her hand.. '' Janta hun kaka..ye mera parivar hai ''

Kumud spent the whole night waiting outside his room.. No pleading, no pressures, no cajoling, no advices... her physical presence and silent support from behind the closed door was enough for both of them.. I like how they show the connection through subtle things like the way both of them crunch their knees together and sit on the floor in the same position..

They say that no matter where you go , at the end of the day you always return to your family.. Saras walks out of his room listening to the morning prayer..he walks past everyone who for that precise moment seemed like ''rest of the world'' and goes straight up to Kumud..!! what a moment :) She is his family and he returned back to his family after the ordeal he went through the day before..

The exhaustive faint smile on their faces had a sense of victory to it..Together we made it :)

P.S- Doesnt the pic above look like a warrior has returned home after winning a battle and his family is standing infront of him welcoming him home with arti??

Awww, Vaishu, brilliant post 🤗

And that dialogue always makes me all warm and tingly - 'main jaanta hoon yeh mera parivaar hai' and he looks at Kumud when he said that.

I was just watching the episode, again. This time I forgot my disappointment at not getting my Samud moment by Saras opening the door to find her waiting there. The more I watched and thought about that scene, the more it felt right. Then I read your post here. I tell you, it seems like it was perfect. That is how it should have played out.

You know the kind of moments we are used to watching is not what this show is about.. There is so much depth and dimensions in the scenes and dialogues that they are hard to comprehend sometimes.. the way he walks upto her and then they stand face to face...it felt as if they both have been communicating the whole night.. he knew she didn't leave him..there was a silent acknowledgement in his eyes and she was just happy for him.. you made it and he seemed to be saying no, we made it.. !!!! SUPERBBB direction..!

Yes, I loved the way they both sat in the same posture, he hurting for himself and she for him.

She showed that she is one with him, she feels his pain, and understands how heart broken he was

I guess I had my heart set on a Samud conversation, and thus was not entirely satisfied with the scene

The build up to it, sunny Kumud convo, Dugba Kumud convo was all so well done, and then when the

Much anticipated samud convo did not happen, I was disappointed.

Anyway, feel better after reading your take on it.

Thanks Vaishali, your perspective always points out the subtleties and finer points and helps me to

Dive below the surface!

Dive below the surface? LOL Thanks Arshi :) Honestly their silence spoke everything in that 2 minute scene.. Saras is stubborn..he did not open the door for anyone..not even Kumud.. I think it was embarrassment coupled with pain.. But he obediently takes arti and prasad from her.. Other than his mother and Dukhba , Kumud is the only person who can have her way with Saras.. I like how despite of their broken alliance, Saras doesnt hesitate to walk upto her infront of her entire family.. it seemed he sensed none other than Kumud in that room... like a traveller he went straight to his destination...

@ Arshi- LOL !!!!!! Arshi's crysp bytes are what Vaishali reads when she doesnt get time to watch the episodes in the morning which is quite often these days.. and trust me we all get a better understanding of the episodes when we read each other's views..its not possible for everyone to grasp everything..

I'm still shocked at the fact that every single time I predict something, I always stand corrected. Phenomenal story line! And phenomenal post by our lovely Vaishali once again! 😳

There was, however, a certain itch at the back of my mind when I saw Saras and Kumud look at each other with such vulnerability and depth.. kind of like, the fact that Saras rejected Kumud was a slap in the face to me because it was so apparent while their whole family was standing around them. That's pretty much the only not even really criticism I have. But again, the show's an adaptation of an already developed, critically appraised, historical volume, so you know what, I can't even complain!

@Veera- thanks :) I think they have gone past that rejection phase.. I feel Kumud has finally understood what he meant by saying '' mene tumhe nahi rishtey ko na ki hai'' Even when she felt sorry for him and decided to help him she admitted that she couldn't bring herself to forgive him for that letter.. But now I think she finally has.. The girl who couldn't forgive him for rejecting her is now defending his actions in front of his own father..everyone including LN and her own parents were shocked.. note the expression on her parents face.. they knew how much hurt she was by the rejection..yet she is urging his father to look at his perspective.. isn't that wow!
