Viewers can not be expected to give time

but the PH has chosen him and there's nothing we can do about it also most of us have accepted him as Manav a new face might be hard to accept now

so we just have to wait and hope he improves.

I agree...its beyond me how such an experienced PH which has been spot on with the casting of the supporting cast as well made such a big blunder with the male lead. Its solely the PHs fault.

The audience has a lot of choices...the show is already in a very competitive slot. Even die hard Sanaya fans are finding it difficult to keep their interest in the show...why will the normal viewers keep on waiting in the hope that he will improve.

Moreover, the excuse, that it is a saas-bahu show and does not require some amount of chemistry between the leads, is pretty lame. There is a reason why most shows get the highest TRPs when the romantic tracks between the leads are going on - because everyone enjoys romance, irrespective of the genre of the soap.

I, being a Sanaya fan, don't have the interest to watch the show all the time. So, I can imagine how it will be for the TRP audience. Again, being a Sanaya fan, I don't want her show to lose out on viewers just because of one person's incompetence. The PH needs to do something about it pronto. I don't know what they saw in him inspite of auditioning so many better actors. I just hope that the male lead is replaced by a better actor.

already we tried frm our daily routine n watch tv 4 relax n feel fresh

but if we say smthing ppl label us as basher n start fighting so better 2 live in lie world

but anyway i agree too some where .. farhan nd sanaya both are facing becoz of this ph .. farhan coz he should not have been selected to work against the top actress nd now hez having hard time coping with her skills ..sanaya becoz she doesn't deserve such blunders being such a fabulous actress ,ph started this show in a hurry just relying on her popularity with out thinking much of other factors ,story/male lead ,i guess sanaya signed it thinking it a different show but ph has nothing new in store(here m not judging the show or sanaya's decision/ choice ,jst a pov) ..i still like/love watching cc(as a viewer) but as an idiot fan i think she deserves better situations around ..lets hope for the best!

p.s! i'll not talk about trps as these mere numbers cant decide the quality of a show!

And I don't find Farhan all that bad, honestly. People keep demanding him to be replaced and I feel so bad for the guy. When someone casts you, they bind you to a contract and it's so unethical to simply dismiss him/her without giving them time to adjust in. I think if they've agreed to cast Farhan opposite such wonderful actors, they must have their reasonings and they're investing in him, so it's their money!

On the other hand, very few shows on SONY have garnered high TRPs. But one thing SONY is known for doing is having different shows. Truly different shows. They went all the way by doing Rishta.com, Mahi Way, and that show called Seven. People always complain about saas-bahu soaps but every channel has the same decked up women adorned in too much jewelry and heavy saris. My Christmas tress doesn't even have that many decorations!

Chanchan is a simple show with a strong message. One of the reasons why I feel that people don't like it is because it's supposed to be light and not intense. The jodi is fresh and the show is different! I'm not complaining just yet. And they're definitely moving with the pace too.
