At the same time Arnav saw that Khushi has witnessed him feeling her presence.

Ok, Wiwy, I'll start with some fun answers. 😉

Answer No. 1: The shooting unit had an inexperienced make up man that day. He didn't know how to show the injury, so he applied too much of red colour. 😆

Answer No. 2: In IPK, whatever happens to A or K, it turns red. Arnav's cheek becomes red (mosquito slap - laal gaal), his ear becomes red (loud speaker - Preeto's wedding), Khushi's nose becomes red (multiple times), her cheek becomes red (first poolside kiss). So, Arnav's chest too turns red. 😆

It is NOT just the kiss that made it the epic romantic sequence it is... but all the events, signals and symbolism leading up to it are so very telling and sequential that there is NOWAY for one to NOT feel that passion/ desire/ love, either or all of them! It felt as if THIS IS IT.. this is how one feels when one is helplessly in love! Becos it would n't have felt as magical if it had happened any earlier than this during Arshi's journey of love. The IPK team during this golden era truly succeeded in defining some thing undefinable ..the love..not just in one word' but by showcasing an array of emotions over a period of some 20 episodes' starting with the Nainital trip that led up to this moment of silent confession (Huh.. how our Arshi always had a unique way of things. They started with their honeymoon with Nainital trip that ended up with their unspoken confession of love on Diwali' where as the world order is usually the opposite!) ..that are brilliantly crafted and enacted'each and every of their emotion adding up to this ensemble called love/passion/ desire!
